    We had such a positive experience at the Brick. Our consultant, Mark Redwood, provided wonderful professional assistance. Such a pleasure to work with and he made excellent suggestions. Gave us options to consider that were very helpful. I would definitely recommend Mark and The Brick in the future

    I am extremely disappointed with my experience at The Brick. I chose to purchase all my home appliances from them because of their repeated assurances about product availability and timely installation. In fact, I moved my order from a more trusted vendor specifically because of these promises — which I now deeply regret. The issues started immediately. The washer installer left one pipe open and told us to contact our builder to fix it. That is completely unacceptable for a professional installation service. The dishwasher installation was even worse. The third-party team informed us — at the time of arrival — that the dishwasher installation was not even scheduled along with the fridge. After spending 30 minutes on the phone pushing for a resolution, I somehow managed to get it done the same day. During installation, the technician either broke the first tray of the dishwasher or it was already broken — we were never given clarity. They left saying the dishwasher was “working” and that they would internally update The Brick about the broken tray. That same night we realized the dishwasher door would not close and the unit would not operate at all, likely because of the broken tray. I informed The Brick immediately (within 24 hours of delivery and installation), yet they had no knowledge of the issue. It then took over 24 hours of back and forth for them to follow up with their own installation team, only to come back saying it was not their responsibility and asking me for photo proof. This was despite the fact that I had reported everything within the required timeline. Eventually, they agreed to replace the dishwasher and promised delivery and installation within two days. When I received no communication by Thursday, I had to call again — only to be told that delivery would now happen the following Wednesday. The most frustrating part of this entire experience has been: • Constant misinformation • Overpromising and underdelivering • Zero accountability for third-party installers • Poor internal communication • A process that forces the customer to chase updates repeatedly The Brick takes orders confidently but clearly lacks control or accountability over the third parties they rely on. As a customer spending thousands of dollars, I expected professionalism and ownership — not chaos and excuses. I would strongly advise others to reconsider before trusting them with major home appliance purchases.

    We received great service from our sales rep. We bought a mattress and 2 box springs to go with it. We tried to return the box springs which were opened to only place it on the bed. We then put them back in the plastic as they made the bed extremely high. We were told to take a picture of the box springs on the bed to prove how high it was and we did. Only for them to come back and say nope we can’t return it. We spent a very good amount of money and because of this inconvenience of having the box springs make it too high they won’t return it because the package was opened? That’s disappointing to say the least. We won’t be making any future purchases from here due to this.

    From beginning to end, a really great experience. David S, our sales associated was really helpful and not at all pushy, I never felt like he was trying to close a sale, and I really appreciate that. He went the extra mile to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. We had our items delivered in two separate shipments and both times the guys were really pleasant and helpful. All in all a great experience and I will be go to David S, in Kanata for our future furniture needs

    If I could give ZERO stars, I would. After reading the other negative reviews on google for this location that have similar sounding stories (with canned responses from the customer service team), I do not expect anything to change with my negative review. Anyone reading this - stay clear of this place. Seriously. DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY!! When we selected our sectional with chaise, we were told (by THREE different people!!!) 1.) assembly was simple, 2.) the the delivery people would do it for us if we'd asked 3.) the delivery people would take away the garbage when finished. NONE OF THIS WAS TRUE. NONE OF IT. On Friday, February 13, 2026 (following delivery) I ended up spending 2 hours of frustration with sub-par, worse-than-IKEA-style instructions with an injured back and injured knees trying to assemble it myself. I further injured myself trying to rip apart and dispose of two ridiculously large furniture boxes. I am still incredibly sore. And when I called customer service at the store (~ 1 hour after it was delivered) - I feel there was ZERO attempt to resolve it on the store's end. I was told "Sorry you were misinformed" with no indication they would resolve the issue with their salespeople. I informed the customer service agent on the phone I needed to assemble it same-day - they offered to have someone reach out to me. AS OF TODAY - FIVE DAYS LATER, AND THREE DAYS PAST THE "POINT OF NON-RETURN" (as per policy) - NOBODY HAS CALLED ME. I guess I should be grateful the product was delivered undamaged and with all working parts - because those were the ONLY two items that weren't screwed up in my entire pre-sale and post-sale customer experience. From my experience, I can say for certain I will not be coming back. The whole experience was awful - and the whole "promise anything and everything to the customer to get the sale, but stop caring once the sale is made" attitude is extremly unethical at BEST. How do you even live with yourself conning customers like that?!? and to add insult to injury - my sectional went on sale (as of Friday the 13th, when I checked) for hundreds of dollars less than what I paid for it. Way to rub salt on the wounds. ***EDIT: I see my post was responded to with the standard "email reviews@thebrick.com" response, which is also unacceptable. If you can't get enough from 1.) this Google review, 2.) the call I had on Friday with Customer Service, and the CUSTOMER FEEDBACK form... then there's nothing further I can say to this company. I've done my due diligence.. what the Brick does with this information is entirely up to them.
