A few hours after writing my review, below, I noticed a problem with the mattress I purchased, so I called it in to let the Brick know. The Brick offered me an additional 40% discount to keep the mattress, which they put in writing via email. They gave me some time to consider it. So, I called back the following day to accept their offer.
However, when they calculated the refund, I noticed an error, which I pointed out to them (they were not taking into account the taxes I had paid). Despite pointing out the error, they refused to take into account the taxes I paid on the original cost of the mattress, thereby making their 'additional 40% off' offer only, in fact, 35%. That is NOT what they stated in writing the previous day.
I consider this to be very poor business practice. It is about the principle - not the money. Because of this, a shadow has been cast on all the positive I've written about the Brick below, and I will no longer make any purchase from that establishment ever again in future. There is so much competition out there that I cannot believe the Brick was not willing to honour their offer, thereby losing a customer for life.
For the record, I work for the federal gov't, doling out social safety nets. If I did math the way the Brick has done math in this case, citizens would complain nonstop, and I would be out of a job.

Salesperson was very helpful in assisting with my mattress selection, but she was not pushy. She let me take my time and was very patient. Because of her good service, I decided to buy from her without any additional shopping-around elsewhere. Delivery was on time, and delivery team was friendly. They carefully placed the mattress on my bed frame, gave me clear instructions on what to do if there is a problem or if I'm dissatisfied, wished me a good afternoon, and went about their day. I found the entire process to be painless and headache-free. Thank you!

Extremely Unprofessional and Unacceptable Delivery Service – The Brick
I recently purchased a small sofa bed from The Brick, and while the in-store service was excellent, what happened during delivery was completely unacceptable.
When the delivery staff arrived, their attitude was shockingly rude. They were visibly annoyed and acted as if it was an inconvenience that the space was not prepared exactly the way they wanted. I immediately moved my TV table and made more than enough room, yet the delivery person continued to show irritation. His tone, facial expressions, and overall behaviour were completely unprofessional and made me feel uneasy and intimidated in my own home.
It was honestly one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. Because of how poorly I was treated, I refused the delivery and asked them to take the product back to the warehouse. I then went to the store to request a refund.
The Brick seriously needs to take action and reevaluate the behaviour of their delivery team. No customer should ever be made to feel disrespected or unsafe in their own home.

Whatever you do, do not purchase anything from this store, or any Brick for that matter.
I recently purchased a brand new bed for my daughter, her first "big girl" bed, and it came delivered broken. Prior to delivery I had communicated that I would not be able to open the boxes within their standard 48 hour window and the sales associate said that would be no problem, they would never want me to have broken furniture, any issues, etc. So if course, when I open up the boxes it was broken and when I contacted them they said there was nothing they could do because I waited past 48 hours. After begging for their help and getting no where, I said what about the 1 year manufacturers warranty and they said there is no point as they don't cover that type of damage and then they hung up on me. My daughter now has a broken bed for what was supposed to be an exciting next milestone in her life.
I will be taking further steps to file formal complaints and share this experience publicly as this is unacceptable. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

While I will never purchase anything from The Brick again due to their terrible customer service and handling of small issues, I must say their delivery people are top notch, at least one thing they got right. Leaving 3 stars solely for their delivery guys, I have met many of them by now for the same issue, and they have all been very helpful. Can't say the same about the company, for your own peace of mind, please use your money elsewhere, especially for investment pieces.

I had an amazing experience with Antoinette. She truly went above and beyond from start to finish. I was having such a hard time deciding on a couch, and she remained incredibly patient the entire time never rushing me, always listening, and guiding me with honest, helpful suggestions.

Yes. You may cancel your order by visiting any Brick location. Purchases made online and in store are refundable at any time prior to product delivery or pick up. Refunds are made only to the same credit or debit card used to pay for the order. Cash payments will be refunded to a debit card or via cheque and mailed to the person who paid for the order. Deposits on Special Order items are non-refundable.
