Derek was the sales associate who helped my Mom find several pieces that she needed due to a recent move.
He listened to what she required and made appropriate suggestions. He also gave us space when noticing that we were trying to make some decisions.
He was helpful, did not push us in any particular direction and was able to make accommodations for delivery.
We will definitely be returning to the North Bay location for future purchases.

I wanted to extend my deep gratitude to Hayden, Nick (his supervisors) and Beth, she was there from beginning of this process/claim.. Their assistance was impressive in getting my disabled brother another mattress . This was a long, arduous task.
They all showed what "excellent customer service" is all about...

We went into The Brick in North Bay to buy a dining room table, and Jim, our salesperson, was great. After we bought the table, I noticed a promo for a free Bluetooth speaker with purchases over a certain amount. I joked that we could always buy new couches, and Jim mentioned the great tent sale deals so we ended up buying a couch and love seat too to qualify.
After everything was paid for and delivery arranged, we were told the speakers were on backorder and would be in “a couple of weeks.”
I called at the end of September, told a couple more weeks.
Called mid-October, same answer.
Called later in October, told they should be in the first week of November.
Called today, November 18th, and still being told a couple more weeks.
It’s disappointing because the experience started out great. I know it’s just a promo item, but it’s the principle. Why run a promotion you can’t supply? A solution should have been offered long before I was frustrated enough to write a review.

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
Yes. You may cancel your order by visiting any Brick location. Purchases made online and in store are refundable at any time prior to product delivery or pick up. Refunds are made only to the same credit or debit card used to pay for the order. Cash payments will be refunded to a debit card or via cheque and mailed to the person who paid for the order. Deposits on Special Order items are non-refundable.
Can I get my deposit refunded in cash if I paid in cash?
Unfortunately, not every Brick store will have enough cash on hand or the exact dollar amount required to refund your deposit in cash. We're happy to refund cash payments to a debit card, or via a cheque made out to the individual listed on the invoice.

An extended warranty can be added during the purchase process in store or online. Or if you've already completed an online order and decided you want to add a warranty, you can visit a Brick store to purchase a warranty up to 30 days after receiving your product. You can add a warranty to a product during the first step of the online checkout process. When you check out, you'll be asked if you want to add a warranty to each eligible product. You can either select 'Protect All Products' at the top of the warranty section, or specify which level of coverage you want for each individual product. When you have selected the preferred warranty for your item(s), click the 'Continue' button in the lower right corner of the page to continue with the checkout process. Where does The Brick deliver?
Our Premium Delivery Service is available in most areas. For areas not served by The Brick's delivery team, we contract third-party courier and shipping companies. Some products can also be shipped via Canada Post's shipping service. The Brick does not currently deliver or ship to anywhere in the United States, and online transactions from American customers cannot be accepted at this time.
