I met a gentleman named Don in the appliances department at RONA in Niagara Falls on Thursday, and I can honestly say I have never met a nicer person in my life. I’ve purchased appliances many times over the years, but no one has ever come close to the level of kindness, professionalism, and genuine care that Don showed me.
He was patient, knowledgeable, and treated me with so much respect—it honestly made my day. Don is truly an amazing person, and RONA is very lucky to have him. I want to sincerely thank him and wish him all the very best.
To RONA’s management and corporate team: I really hope you have more people like Don representing your company. He’s the kind of employee who makes customers want to come back.

Do not buy appliances from them! There extended warranty is rediculous and the company that deals with the extended warranty take forever to fixs it or even diagnosis the problem. You have to get mad at them for them to send someone to look at it and all of a sudden it can be thats day to get it looked at 3 days later even tho it said they were pre ordering the parts and now have to wait min a week for them to even fixs something simple! Horrible ..

Quite literally no staff on the sales floor. Good luck if you need help with anything. Probably the least engaging staff, they do not acknowledge you at all. In the time I wasted inside Rona, I was able to drive the extra distance to Home Depot, get the help I required and the product I needed.

Thus far nothing but headaches from various departments at this store, all because the Rona website shows available drywall which we purchased but according to the in-store personnel (department head; front desk) they don’t typically carry.
My wife has been running herself ragged to complete a renovation to accommodate my dire health situation. We have spent hundreds of dollars at this location alone.
She placed, the order in question, for 3 5/8” moisture resistant boards in good faith. The website allowed it and there was no alert status suggesting this drywall was unavailable.
She was then contacted to be told that it was not in stock. But when my wife pushed back the manager ultimately but grudgingly told her he would need to place a special order out of Quebec.
When my wife, called for a status update , a few days later, the person who answered (someone at the front desk) was also rude and abrasive. She actually said, “we had to order an entire skid for a product we don’t normally carry”.
How is that my wife’s problem?
These interactions made my wife feel so unvalued and unappreciated. It’s not right to be treated this way. My wife was pleasant and calm when she placed these calls. I was present for all of them.
To her credit, my wife actually said to me that everybody has a bad day but I don’t feel the same way. You don’t take out your frustrations on a customer:
A) it’s not her fault that she was allowed to purchase something on the website that they don’t stock in store and B) she was met with rude behaviour and tone when she rightfully exercised her rights as a customer.
She would never, ever post a review, but I’m tired of being run over. Hopefully someone will read this and make changes to their customer service.

Is my online order confirmation page considered an official receipt?
No, your official sales receipt will be given to you when you complete the transaction at the store where you pick up your items. When will my online payment be processed?

How much time will it take to process my order?

How do I qualify for the vehicle rental?
To rent a vehicle, you must:
> Be at least 21 years old
> Hold a valid full driver’s license (not a graduated license)
> Provide proof of insurance in your name
> Present a major credit card
NOTE: For the Province of Saskatchewan, the customer must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license.
Do RONA+ charge deposit for the truck/van rental?
A deposit of $500 for all rentals will be charged before we rent the van to a valid credit card. After inspection deposit will be refunded less the rental fee when customer return the van/truck.
How do I pay for the truck/van rental?
We accept all major credit cards.
Please note that cash, checks, gift cards, money orders, or prepaid visa cards are NOT accepted as payment for vehicle rentals. Store associates do not receive discounts on truck rentals and are charged the same rental fee as the customer.
Do RONA offer insurance for the vehicle rental?
At this time, RONA+ does not provide rental insurance. You’ll need to use your own liability insurance that covers non-owned vehicle rentals. Please make sure the proof of insurance is under the renter’s name.
What is your return policy for truck / van rental?
Returns are simple! When you bring back the vehicle, we’ll do a quick walkaround inspection and check the fuel gauge. As long as the vehicle is in the same condition and fuel level as when you rented it, you’re good to go.
