    The sales representatives were very helpful, but the communication with the loading team was poor. We were instructed to wait at the customer pickup area to collect an appliance, but the loading door remained closed, so we didn’t realize they were waiting for us. We waited for over 30 minutes without any response. Finally, when they opened the loading bay, they expected us to carry the appliance from the bay, which was almost five feet off the ground, and they offered no assistance.

    Hi, The delivery arrived right on time and in perfect condition. Everything was well-packaged, organized, and handled with care—no damage, no confusion, just smooth from start to finish. You can tell there’s pride in the work behind the scenes. It’s rare these days to have something show up exactly as promised, but this one did—and that matters. Reliable, efficient, and hassle-free. Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to order again.

    I bought this dining table chair set from this store. Since I don’t have guests very often, they weren’t used much. However, about a year later, when a guest weighing around 100–110 kg (230–240 lbs) sat on one of the chairs, the metal legs bent and I couldn’t fix them. At the time, I didn’t make a big deal out of it since the warranty had already expired. A few months later, another friend who weighs around 100 kg sat on a second chair, and the same thing happened — it bent and broke as well. I went back to the store, but they said there was nothing they could do since the warranty had expired. I also asked about replacement parts, and they said those weren’t available either. So, 3 out of the 6 chairs ended up breaking within the first two years. Meanwhile, I’ve been using much cheaper chairs from another brand in my kitchen for years, and they’re still as solid as the first day — no matter who sits on them. For that reason, I wouldn’t recommend buying chairs from Brick. They’re not durable. Anything over 80 kg seems to cause the legs to bend.

    I have been waiting FOUR MONTHS for a brand-new office chair that was delivered defective. On November 23, I purchased a Swivel Glider Recliner (SKU: SHAYTPRC, Vendor #70721-L1-1KS-SGR-200603) for $592 for my office. When it was delivered, the chair was tilted on an angle and clearly defective. I contacted the store immediately. Two weeks later a technician came to inspect it and confirmed it was broken. Instead of replacing a brand-new defective chair, I was told they would order a replacement part and repair it. It is now March 16 — almost FOUR MONTHS later — and I am still waiting for that part. Every time I follow up, I’m simply told to keep waiting. I was even told their wait time for parts can be 2 weeks to 90 days, which is unacceptable for a brand-new chair that has never even been used. To make matters worse, I was told that because the issue was noticed after the delivery team left, the replacement policy does not apply. I am a small business owner and furnished my entire office through The Brick, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at The Brick – Markham.
