- AWAmber Wilde-DiMarcoDec 24, 20253.0Pros: the customer service was excellent and the units were clean and secure Cons: I was told the wrong cost for the lock, was not told I required 2 locks and discovered my unit had two doors upon loading it, and was not informed that access on the first day does not start until 9am rather than the 6am for any other day.

The service was excellent and everything was clearly explained, especially the user agreement, which I really appreciated. I was also given helpful tips on choosing the right storage size for my needs, which made the process stress-free. Lakezia was absolutely amazing professional, patient, and knowledgeable. Even when dealing with a few grumpy clients who couldn’t get their way, she handled the situation calmly and professionally without missing a beat. Her customer service truly stood out. I highly recommend Access Storage if you’re looking for great service and knowledgeable staff.

I was told verbally that I could prorate my rental if I didn’t stay for the full term, but later discovered in the contract that prorating is only allowed once per customer. This was not clearly explained upfront and felt misleading, as it was buried in the paperwork that I was able to look after we had already moved our belongings in and had limited options. Additionally, on our move-out date there was heavy snowfall, and no one came to plow the facility all day. Despite this, we were still expected to move out as scheduled. This showed a lack of concern for customer safety and convenience, and it felt like the focus was more on collecting payment than supporting customers. Lastly, they charge you upfront for four months and as mentioned before ONLY once you can ask for lesser time. Because of these issues, I will not be returning and would not recommend Access Storage to others.
