I frequent this Rona for most of my home projects. The pricing is generally the same amongst all the big box brands so don't expect to get a discount but the thing that sets this location apart is the people who work here. They've always found a way to be helpful and courteous. They've helped me more than I can count over the years!

Got a combo set one night never opened it and never used it took it back next day not even 15 hrs later and can't return it they can't do nothing for me because it's on clearance and my bill of sale saying I have 90 days to return what can I do the staff were so rude had no idea about any of this and waz not made aware of this at all this is the worst scam on Rona ever and hope they have a wonderful day knowing they riped off a hard working person and didn't honor return policy I'll be looking into this cuz that is not alond when the bill is telling me 90 days not that I can't do nothen on top of this person who sold it to me trying to charge me #30 for 1 year warranty on this junk they trying to sell ppl scamed me out of 150 and I have no right not ok if star qZ half I would of pick half star not ok and I'm looking into other legal contacts cuz I feel like I should of for my money back or credit for the store or something I'm being riped off scamed and used by Rona not right very scetchie

Our experience with Bosch, their warranty provider Camerico, and the retailer RONA has been extremely disappointing and frustrating from start to finish.
We purchased a Bosch glass cooktop just over a year ago. This was the most expensive cooktop we’ve ever owned, chosen specifically because Bosch markets itself as a premium brand. On top of that, we paid over $900 for an extended warranty, believing it would provide peace of mind and protection if anything went wrong.
Unfortunately, the product failed under completely normal household use.
While cooking, we slid a hot pan from one zone to another — something we have done for over 10 years with other glass cooktops from various brands, including cheaper ones, without any issues. This time, the glass cracked immediately. There was no impact, no dropping, no abuse — just standard cooking behavior.
When we contacted Bosch, we were directed to Camerico for warranty handling. After reviewing photos, Camerico sent us a PDF explaining different “crack patterns” and claimed that a single-line crack indicates “pressure” and is therefore not covered. As a customer who paid premium pricing and over $900 for extended coverage, this explanation feels like a technical loophole designed to deny claims rather than support customers. Sliding cookware on a cooktop is normal use — if this causes cracking, it points to a design or material failure.
Adding to the frustration, this was not the only quality issue. Even before the crack occurred, the tray underneath the cooktop would randomly open, which already raised concerns about build quality and quality control.
After Bosch and Camerico denied coverage — despite the extended warranty — we visited the RONA location where the cooktop was purchased. We calmly explained the situation, provided documentation, and were told that RONA would follow up with Camerico and email us with updates.
That email never arrived.
There was no follow-up, no update, and no resolution. Despite selling a premium appliance and an expensive extended warranty, RONA ultimately offered no assistance at all — no store credit, no accommodation, no replacement options, and not even the courtesy of an update they promised.
This experience has been disappointing on every level:
Bosch: a fragile product that failed under normal use
Camerico: rigid and dismissive warranty handling, even with extended coverage
RONA: lack of accountability and complete failure to follow through
Paying premium prices and over $900 for an extended warranty should come with durability, protection, and support. In our case, we received none of those.
We regret purchasing this Bosch appliance and strongly caution others to think carefully before investing in a brand, warranty provider, and retailer that do not stand behind what they sell.

Always look up what I want on line so I know the aisle! Staff is very friendly but I really hate that they are forcing you to self checkout because there is only one full service register. Guess what one there is always a line up for!

Great customer service! I purchased a 90 lb safe online and the only carrier delivery option was for curb side delivery. It is way too heavy for me to lift so I called Customer Service to request in-home delivery. This store quickly arranged to have a store manager/team (David, Richard) personally deliver my safe to my room of choice. Thank you so much Rona Barton St. store!

Do RONA+ charge deposit for the truck/van rental?
A deposit of $500 for all rentals will be charged before we rent the van to a valid credit card. After inspection deposit will be refunded less the rental fee when customer return the van/truck.
