Old man employee ruined my personal item that i bought into Rona to have measured!
To recap the event about my complaint is as follows:
October 3 around 12:20-1 pm I was in your store and approached at the end of the nut hex isle by your employee who is described as white, white hair, blue eyes, glasses, his build is of an older man -medium to large, around 5’7 to 5’9 height.
I was holding my 1 high heel that had a silver nut hex at the base of the support of the heel and cannot use that silver piece anymore. I was making my way from plumbing and also holding about 5 gold nuts in the sealed plastic bags from that department. He asked for my attention twice because I did not want his help or ask for it. I told him I want to match a gold nuts hex to replace the silver one I had on it and I just need the same size but I rather use the gold plumbing style nuts. He sized the silver one to the wall display and found a gold one to match. He took my shoe. He put it on my shoe to fit, but next he went further and said “I’ll do you one” and without my notice or permission and with my shoe in his hand he went to the isle where pliers are sold and began to unnecessarily twist the nut onto my heel tighter. I explained to him I don’t want this style of nut I want the one I have from plumbing so I need a match of this hex that he plied on to match the nut from plumbing. He said ok I’ll take off this nut hex, but as a woman I know that the part of the heel that the nut was plied onto is sensitive. I told him to size it first before taking it off; I told him twice. He did not listen and when he went to take off the bottom using pliers again and I could not look at him do it, I am disappointed and knew it would go wrong. That’s when the bottom of the heel came off along with the nut hex stuck into it . He is still holding my shoe and won’t give it up to me. He then took my shoe back to the nut hex isle and began to tear some tread lining into the heel using the wall display in order to fit another hex but since he doesn’t wear high heels he doesn’t know that if he just left it alone I could have it fixed by a shoe cobbler which I do not want to pay out of pocket for because the shoe was intact when I came into the store. The new tread that he created does not fit the same diameter of the nut hex I came in with , it is much smaller, is shorter, narrower, and doesn’t match my other shoe(see receipt showing dimensions). Therefore the heel is different in height, stability, and durability from its pair(see photo). Please keep in mind the purpose of the nut hex is to prevent the part that was plied off from getting ruined and that I use support on the other shoe which makes it more uneven and I will not be giving up the support from anything I use on the good heel. A copy of the receipt shows the dimensions of how the heel tread went down in size. The last photo example is the amount of support I use for the shoe based on the untampered heel of the set showing overall difference. My phone number is 6********** and I want him to pay for the repair of my shoe. This review is a result of the management's team failing to respond to the direct email that was sent 8 days ago.

Is my online order confirmation page considered an official receipt?
No, your official sales receipt will be given to you when you complete the transaction at the store where you pick up your items. When will my online payment be processed?

How much time will it take to process my order?

How do I qualify for the vehicle rental?
To rent a vehicle, you must:
> Be at least 21 years old
> Hold a valid full driver’s license (not a graduated license)
> Provide proof of insurance in your name
> Present a major credit card
NOTE: For the Province of Saskatchewan, the customer must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license.
Do RONA+ charge deposit for the truck/van rental?
A deposit of $500 for all rentals will be charged before we rent the van to a valid credit card. After inspection deposit will be refunded less the rental fee when customer return the van/truck.
How do I pay for the truck/van rental?
We accept all major credit cards.
Please note that cash, checks, gift cards, money orders, or prepaid visa cards are NOT accepted as payment for vehicle rentals. Store associates do not receive discounts on truck rentals and are charged the same rental fee as the customer.
Do RONA offer insurance for the vehicle rental?
At this time, RONA+ does not provide rental insurance. You’ll need to use your own liability insurance that covers non-owned vehicle rentals. Please make sure the proof of insurance is under the renter’s name.
What is your return policy for truck / van rental?
Returns are simple! When you bring back the vehicle, we’ll do a quick walkaround inspection and check the fuel gauge. As long as the vehicle is in the same condition and fuel level as when you rented it, you’re good to go.
