- DFD 'fordFeb 12, 20261.0I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction and outright outrage regarding my recent experience with your company. The policies governing home delivery are nothing short of appalling, and they were compounded by the unprofessional conduct of your delivery personnel, who were both rude and unkempt. Furthermore, the product I received was grossly misrepresented, failing to match the description and photographs, and arrived significantly flawed. My subsequent attempt to resolve these issues with customer service was equally infuriating. The service provided was demonstrably inadequate, and the deceptive representation of its location—operating out of an African city while leading customers to believe they are dealing with a Quebec-based service—is completely unacceptable. I made a substantial purchase and, in return, received not only a major headache and a personal injury, but also a brand new kitchen counter marred by a chip dead center. Rest assured, this pitiful experience guarantees that I will never shop at Rona again, and I will share my condemnation widely. Just wait for the automatic PR post claiming to want to help --- oh and there it is! I called and they acted like they knew nothing about it - from Africa of course!

From the initial call answered by a young man, offering to call back ( which they did), to the lady who went out of her way to locate the item, everyone was so friendly and accommodating. They had the vanity sitting at customer service and the two ladies were friendly and entertaining. The staff going above and beyond made our experience a pleasure. This is why we love Rona over other big boxed stores and will always give them our business first!
- TJTim JohnstonDec 3, 20251.0I bought a Dewalt battery large one last year battery stopped working two months after using. Won’t charge ! I finally made it back to the store with receipt in hand to get the battery replaced. Lady at the customer service desk asked me for the box like who keeps the box for a year then she said how do I know it’s the same battery it’s the only one I have that’s oversize that I bought from that store in Waterdown felt insulted like I was trying to pull a scam. She told me I had to call Dewalt direct. I don’t have this problem at Home Depot. Home Depot honours their warranty. Will never shop at Ronan again and I’ve spent tens of thousands of dollars there try to return one thing and I have this problem. I have to go to Dewalt direct felt very insulted like I was bringing an old battery or something never shop there again.

How do I know if my order is ready to be picked up?
When you order online, choose the option “Pick-up in store“ at checkout. You will receive an email confirming that your order is ready. Use the Pick-Up Scheduler to select the time slot that suits you. Park in one of the designated Curbside Pick-up spots, call the store, and an associate will bring your order to your vehicle. Do you deliver and from what amount of purchase?
Yes, we offer a delivery service. All products can be shipped by parcel their delivery is free with any $49 and more purchase. What are the terms and conditions of making payments online?
You can use a Mastercard, Visa or Rona credit card to pay for your purchases online — by entering the cardholder name and address on the account statement when you make your purchase. Is my online order confirmation page considered an official receipt?
No, your official sales receipt will be given to you when you complete the transaction at the store where you pick up your items. You will need to bring your "Ready for Pick-up" email with you as proof of purchase. This notice includes a copy of your consumer agreement. You should keep it in your records for future reference.
When will my online payment be processed?
Upon confirmation of your order, we will validate the credit card you used. The payment will automatically be charged to your card when the transaction is completed online.
How much time will it take to process my order?
Most of the products you can purchase online are available within 2 hours of placing your order. You can check the final processing time for your order at the top of your shopping cart page. If one of the items on the order is available within 7 to 10 days, it will take us 7 to 10 days to get it ready for pick-up or delivery.
Where should I go to pick up my order?

Can I rent a truck at this location?
Yes. We offer truck rentals at this location. To reserve a truck, please contact the store directly. Availability may be limited, especially during peak seasons, so we recommend calling ahead to confirm before visiting.
How do I know that truck/van is available for rental at RONA+ location?
If you see a truck or van parked at the store, that’s the first sign that it’s available for rent. To save yourself a trip, you can call the RONA store’s customer service desk ahead of time to confirm availability. Rentals are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
How do I qualify for the vehicle rental?
To rent a vehicle, you must:
> Be at least 21 years old
> Hold a valid full driver’s license (not a graduated license)
> Provide proof of insurance in your name
> Present a major credit card
NOTE: For the Province of Saskatchewan, the customer must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license.
Do RONA+ charge deposit for the truck/van rental?
A deposit of $500 for all rentals will be charged before we rent the van to a valid credit card. After inspection deposit will be refunded less the rental fee when customer return the van/truck.
How do I pay for the truck/van rental?
We accept all major credit cards.
Please note that cash, checks, gift cards, money orders, or prepaid visa cards are NOT accepted as payment for vehicle rentals. Store associates do not receive discounts on truck rentals and are charged the same rental fee as the customer.
Do RONA offer insurance for the vehicle rental?
At this time, RONA+ does not provide rental insurance. You’ll need to use your own liability insurance that covers non-owned vehicle rentals. Please make sure the proof of insurance is under the renter’s name.
What is your return policy for truck / van rental?
Returns are simple! When you bring back the vehicle, we’ll do a quick walkaround inspection and check the fuel gauge. As long as the vehicle is in the same condition and fuel level as when you rented it, you’re good to go.
