Our experience with the Brick has been excellent! From the time in the store picking out the bed and the customer service we received there, to the delivery and tracking system and the delivery people themselves. This was an experience that I don't feel like you get often these days where everything runs smoothly and just as they said it would. I highly recommend purchasing furniture there.

**WARNING** DO NOT BUY FROM THE BRICK
I ordered a fridge, stove and OTR microwave. I bought it in September and told them I couldn’t take delivery till Nov 4th. No problem! I kept getting weekly calls for delivery. A month ago, I agreed to take the fridge. Two days later, the microwave showed up unexpectedly. I received the stove on Nov 4th. The delivery driver unpacked the fridge and stove and it was inspected. The microwave was not. I’m a 62 yr old woman and no way could I physically unpack and inspect the microwave. My contractor went to install today and it was damaged. I went back to The Brick and was told I only had 24 hrs to report it. So, after spending over $6K in appliances and furniture, agreeing to an earlier delivery date, I’m stuck with a broken microwave. The Brick’s after service care is non existent. If you looking for appliances, go to The Home Depot.
They price match and give you an additional 10% off. I wish I’d know this prior.

I WOULD LIKE TO WARN PEOPLE ABOUT THE WARRANTY PLAN. SAVE YOUR MONEY BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HONOUR IT. I BOUGHT A COUCH FROM THEM AND ONE OF THE CUSHIONS WAS NOT RIGHT. IT WAS LUMPY AND BUCKLING BECAUSE OF THE STITCHING. IT WAS NOT SEWN RIGHT. SO I CALLED THEM AND AFTER NOT RECEIVING ANY CALL BACKS I TRIED AGAIN. I FINALLY GOT A HOLD OF THEM AND THEY TOLD ME I HAD TO FILL OUT A WARRANTY CLAIM WHICH I DID. WHEN IT CAME TO ADMITTING IT. IT WOULDN"T GO THROUGH SO I SENT THEM AND E-MAIL AND I HAVEN'T GOT A RESPONSE. I WORK WITH THE PUBLIC AND I WILL TELL THEM HOW THE BRICK HAS TREATED ME AND TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT THE BRICK. WORST STORE EVER.

Service was pretty good. Sales person was not overly personable but satisfactory. Delivery guys were the fastest I've ever seen. No talking they just come unload the boxes. Must say it's disappointing to spend that much money and everything really is in pieces. It's like buying for IKEA.
Actually, I am so annoyed. Upon putting the chairs together, I see they gave me 6 of 1 style. I ordered 4 of one style and 2 of another style.
I emailed the salesperson immediately and no response. I emailed her the next day-no answer. DON'T bother calling because no one answers. Automated call to nowhere.
Today ive come to the store. Three people to understand my displeasure with receiving an incorrect order. I was pretty much accused of being the one wrong.
I even had to raise my voice to make them understand. I was so looking forward to my new table & chairs after 20+ years with the one i had. Now I'm just annoyed.

I went into the store with my partner just the other weekend, we were looking for a new couch. I was immediately taken back by the appearance of the show room, I thought the Brick was supposed to be a nice furniture store but the showroom looked like a discount warehouse. There was so many items packed on to the showroom, no real staging done to create a comfortable environment like you'd have in your own house. I was pretty sure the brick used to set up little staged areas in the past when I had gone in so it was quite sad to see it how it is today. Again, it felt like a discount warehouse and the prices don't reflect that.. We carried on through the store anyways, looked at a few different couches and started to make our way to the middle of the store where a lot of the larger sets were. We noticed quite a few people sitting in those displayed so we carried on looking at other items until the other people were done looking at the ones we wanted to try. Turns out all of those people were their sales people... there was about 5 of them all sitting on the couches, they didnt even try to get up as we got closer to give us the chance to try them out. My partner and I decided at that point we did not want to give our business to the brick so we left.

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
Yes. You may cancel your order by visiting any Brick location. Purchases made online and in store are refundable at any time prior to product delivery or pick up. Refunds are made only to the same credit or debit card used to pay for the order. Cash payments will be refunded to a debit card or via cheque and mailed to the person who paid for the order. Deposits on Special Order items are non-refundable.
Can I get my deposit refunded in cash if I paid in cash?
Unfortunately, not every Brick store will have enough cash on hand or the exact dollar amount required to refund your deposit in cash. We're happy to refund cash payments to a debit card, or via a cheque made out to the individual listed on the invoice.
