*** Everyone Read *** Hello, this review is on behalf of my family member who has gone through the most extreme unprofessionalism I have come across. If I could leave no stars I would have taken that option. I am a high level positive contributor to goggle and rarely have I ever written a bad review. I love to raise a business up and help them thrive, big or small companies. However I will expose the truth. I had initially written and posted a very detailed review about Leon's of what she endured while purchasing a brand new LG fridge from Leon's. Paid in full with an additional extended warranty in October 2025. As I can't go into the dates and details all over again I will share a short timeline and example . New fridge arrives. Was defective, LG tech was dispatched , replaced a part, still wasn't fixed, LG tech came back, condemned fridge. My sister has to now wait for a credit from Lg which could take up to ten full business days. It took nearly a week for LG to even respond. This is over the course of two months. Lost wages waiting for deliveries, diagnosis, parts, technicians and throwing out two loads of groceries gone bad from defective fridges. LG credited her for the fridge and it would need to be received by Leon's . After this good news and confirmation of reimbursement, my sister
contacted Leon's to put the same fridge on hold and make sure the warranty she paid for was transferred over to the same new fridge she was getting replaced. No one ever calls back. So she went into the store again. The female managed was very belittling, ignorant and rude. She treated my sister disrespectfully. They made her come into the store at a later date to pay a $14 dollar fee just to hold the fridge they already owe her as the price of the fridge had gone up since when she bought it months ago and if she didn't they wouldn't reserve it for her. Disgusting.
At this point my sister was so stressed while just trying to be heard that I stepped in a wrote a very detailed review on google. Enough so that it had gotten the attention of the stores general manager Kyle Proulx. He called my sister, made it right .... but then asked her to pull the review down. They offered an apology and a small credit for a future purchase . I removed the review, big mistake . Several weeks later the new fridge arrives mid November ..... damaged. A massive dent and scratch on the door. This all started back in October . It's now mid January. She has emailed several times since November when the second fridge came damaged and called to see where the promised new door was. No response. I'm sure I'll get another elaborate response like I did in the first review, but don't let it fool you. I feel the reason Kyle that you contacted my sister was just to make the review go away. Why do we need to get your attention this way. This is the people you're dealing with at this Leon's. The sales associate was great and felt bad. I feel Kyle only wanted to save corporate face. Not care what matters most ... the customer. Shame on you , again.
You acted on an honest poor review . People should know the truth. Think carefully about choosing this Leon's for any furniture or household needs. You have lost many customers from these actions. Get her the replacement door please.... or even just respond to her. The first photos are of the fridge that wouldn't operate properly as it froze everything inside the fridge and leaked water. The second is the new fridge, with a giant dent.
Edit: Kyle as per your response you're incorrect. I have the emails dated back in December with you CC'd on them. You say that we only given you a day is in-fact a lie. Word it as you will. We have all the documents. Once I dropped the review , you dropped out. Facts. None of this would have happened if you had done your job accordingly. I could upload all the emails if you need a reminder. I see why you prefer to speak behind closed doors to avoid the truth being exposed. My family has no desire to speak to you again.

Shazia - Thanks for your guidance and patience with our recent purchase. You were a pleasure to deal with.
Unfortunately, the experience following the purchase was not as pleasant. One of our items arrived broken (which you would’ve thought they would have noticed given the damaged box). Upon trying to rectify the issue, I am expected to go to Burlington to exchange the item, or wait for it to be delivered again, which means more time off to receive the new delivery. I am generally a VERY understanding person, but this purchase was a good faith order after boycotting Leon’s and this location for more than 6 years after two other disastrous purchases at this same store. We are generally very easy to please and have good experiences elsewhere, so this is obviously a location issue. I am
On the fence about cancelling the remainder of our order which is the larger parts of this purchase. To say I'm displeased is an understatement.

Went to Leon’s in Brantford and had a wonderful experience with, Shazia! We came in the other day, on Christmas Eve to look at couches. She didn’t pressure us, went over the deals for Boxing Day and saved our information. We came back today and went right to her! She’s very knowledgeable and kind and that’s what makes her a great sales rep. The next time you need to go to Leon’s, ask for Shazia!

Shazia was fantastic! I just came in to confirm a loveseat choice that I made online. She found everything for me right away, sold me on the warranty (which I learned comes back to me in store credit if I don't use it!) and had me on my way in no time! She was friendly and efficient and there was none of the pressure-sales discomfort you sometimes expect when walking into high-ticket-item environments. I'm sure I'll be back!
