We purchased a beautyrest viscount mattress just over a year ago. The mattress has sags where your hips are causing back and hip pain. A technician came out and decided that there was no manufacturing defect! We are stuck with this very expensive mattress. Our last mattress was over 15 years old and never had sags. Ironically, it was also a beautyrest bought from sleep country. Obviously, their quality is no longer there or the mattresses they make for Leons are sub par. We will never purchase a other mattress from Leons and have already advised our friends to shop elsewhere. It is very frustrating as a senior to now have to spend money on another mattress after only a year!

My experience with Leon’s was extremely disappointing. The delivery team was in a rush to move on to their next stop and did not finish the job properly. Instead of ensuring everything was set up correctly, it felt like they just wanted to leave as quickly as possible. When I called their so-called manager to resolve the issue, I spent a lot of time on the phone only to be told that there was nothing they could do. That response was frustrating and showed a complete lack of accountability. The sales experience may feel pleasant when you are buying, but once the purchase is made, the level of customer service drops significantly. Courtesy, follow-up, and support were simply not there when it mattered. If you are considering purchasing from Leon’s, be aware that the after-sales support may not meet expectations. Very disappointing experience.

Learned my lesson DO NOT SHOP HERE! - I was very disappointed with the service I received at the Barrie Leons store. To begin with the sales associate was lacking in the knowledge or skills to properly explain the warranty information or discounts available through the store. We purchased our couch and recliner on a Monday and arranged for delivery the same week on Friday. Thursday evening someone called to arrange a date and time for delivery and explained there was confusion as to whether or not my items were in stock despite the sales person confirming they were before purchase to ensure a quick turn around. It took multiple phones calls and clarification to get my items delivered on the agreed upon timeline. During delivery the items were shoved through my front door fully assembled and wrapped which was a struggle for the delivery people. This struggle led to them breaking multiple plastic pieces of the underside of my couch as well as my ring doorbell camera. They did not unwrap any of the furniture. When I contacted Leon’s to notify them of the damage it took multiple phone calls, pictures and emails over 22 days to even get close to a solution. So far they have agreed to credit me $45 to my Leon’s account in lieu of replacing my damaged camera. They still require additional pictures of the labels on my couch to even process a part order for my couch. I am also still working on getting them to come and do the magi-seal protectant that was purchased as part of the warranty but was not explained to be a process I must book later and is not something that they do before it is delivered. I am very disappointed and the $45 credit will likely never get used since I do not plan to ever purchase from them again. This is why I should have paid the extra to shop at a local smaller business. Update: they have told me twice now that breaking of plastic pieces is common especially in cold weather. The camera I purchased was part of a larger home security package so they will only credit me a fraction of the cost, their poor customer service was explained by lack of training, change in staff and essentially people passing the buck at the store. No real action, no fair compensation… just some poor customer service and a damaged $3000 couch.

I originally went in to buy a TV and was met with poor customer service from the start. The sales process felt rushed and disorganized, and once the payment was processed, the level of support completely disappeared. There was little transparency about policies, and getting clear answers felt nearly impossible. I had also bought a mattress a year ago and raised concerns, yet they only sent someone to inspect the quality after the warranty period had expired. Convenient timing. A guarantee shouldn’t come with delays that make it useless. What made the experience worse was the issue with the “guaranteed” mattress replacement. I was led to believe that the mattress protection/replacement was straightforward and reliable, but when the time came to actually use it, I was met with pushback, loopholes, and unhelpful responses. It felt misleading and incredibly frustrating. A guarantee should mean something — not come with fine print that makes it practically unusable. Between the lack of communication, the difficulty resolving issues, and the overall feeling that customer satisfaction was not a priority, I cannot recommend shopping here. For such a large and established company, I expected professionalism and accountability. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Very poor customer service and zero accountability. I won’t be shopping here again.
