This place has a very unorganized lumber yard. Very difficult to find straight lumber also very messy. The store is okay at best the staff are usually very friendly and helpful though but they could do sooooo much better

Will not be returning to Rona Arnprior.
Stopped in yesterday for paint and were told by the woman at the desk that all Sico paints were 30–50% off. Great — until we got to the cash and realized later that the bathroom/kitchen paint wasn’t discounted. No one mentioned any exceptions and today when we looked around there were no signs showing the exception. Totally misleading.
We came back the next day with our receipt, just hoping for some kind of acknowledgment or compensation since the paint can’t be returned once tinted. Instead, we were met with Laura at customer service, who was incredibly dismissive, rude, and unhelpful — she barely glanced at the receipt and brushed us off.
When another employee offered to get the manager, Sean, she stopped to laugh and chat with Laura before returning to say that Sean had said there was “nothing to be done.” We were watching the entire time, and never once did she speak to a man, let alone Sean. Completely unprofessional.
We left feeling disrespected, ignored, and honestly, like we were treated differently because we’re women. Had it had been my husband (who owns an electrical company) or any other man, they definitely would’ve been treated with more respect and dignity. No woman deserves to be treated with the level of disrespect we were treated with today. We’ve insured that our company will not be returning to Rona for anything ever again. Terrible service — will be taking our business elsewhere. If I could give zero stars I would!

I usually shop at Rona and have had good experiences, but this was my first time at the Arnprior location, and the customer service was really disappointing. I didn’t expect that in a small town – I thought people would be friendly. Instead, I felt ignored, like they were doing me a favor just by talking to me.
I only asked about a $5 price match, and they laughed at me as if I was trying to steal something. I regretted even asking. Overall, it left a bad impression. Next time I’ll just drive a couple more kilometers to Canadian Tire – better service and more discounts. I won’t be coming back to this Rona.

Was planning on replacing my dads old mitre with the makita mitre saw and a few blades for his birthday, when I asked the man at the contractor area, the short one that looks like George Costanza, to get the saw out of the cage, but he went to help a man who was yelling profanities at the workers loudly.
Decided to get a similar item at Home Depot. You’ve lost a customer and many future sales from us.

There is a real lack of oversight on new employees especially summer hires. Can't cut lumber properly, no safety glasses. I had to tell the kid to put his safety glasses on. Cuts were not straight. Many times products are not available. It's time for Arnprior to get a home depot.
