  I’ve been a regular customer at this store for quite some time, and the two gentlemen who usually work here have always been professional, courteous, and helpful — which is why I continued to return. However, my experience this past Saturday was a complete embarrassment to the store’s reputation. The man at the front desk looked like he had just rolled out of bed and couldn’t be bothered to do his job. When I brought in the parts I needed and asked for assistance, he didn’t even attempt basic customer service — instead, he dismissively told me to “go find them myself on the wall.” That’s not just lazy — it’s disrespectful. For a business that gladly takes my money on a regular basis, you would think customer service would come standard. Apparently not. With as much as I’ve spent here over time, being treated like an inconvenience instead of a customer was enough to make my decision easy: I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. I won’t be back, and I’ll make sure others know that Leslie’s clearly does not value loyal customers.

  I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service and advice I received from Leslie Pools over the past 2.5 months. I have a 40,000-gallon inground pool that has been plagued by algae. Despite working closely with their advisors, providing water samples and pictures, and purchasing several recommended products, my pool's condition did not improve. Throughout this period, I followed all instructions given by Leslie staff and invested a significant amount of money in chemicals and supplies. However, none of the recommended treatments were effective in clearing the algae. This experience has led me to question whether Leslie Pools is more interested in selling chemicals than in genuinely helping customers achieve a clear and enjoyable pool. Frustrated with the lack of progress, I sought assistance from an outside professional. Within a week, they were able to clear my pool completely. They identified a crucial step that was never mentioned by Leslie Pool staff: applying an algaecide directly to the filter. This omission, even after being sold a cartridge filter cleaner by Leslie Pool company, suggests a significant gap in the expertise of your employees. Furthermore, I reached out to their district manager, Alexia, for assistance and received no response. This lack of communication only adds to my dissatisfaction and reflects poorly on their customer service. It is not the amount of money spent that bothers me; it is the fact that I spent so much without any improvement. I feel compelled to warn others about my experience before they invest their money at Leslie Pools. I hope they take this feedback seriously and work to improve their customer service and the quality of advice provided by their staff. Pictures below highlight the condition of the pool over a 2 1/2 month period and the clear is what was achieved in about one week.
