- VVvwjlisDec 31, 20252.0I started renting in March of 2025 for a climate-controlled, 10x7 unit and things were going OK. The initial rent was $29/mo for a climate controlled unit (with my own private insurance.) Then in July of 2025 the rent was then raised to $58/mo. Earlier this month, I received notice that they were raising my rent to $116/mo starting in 2026. So renters beware of the price hikes. This was the last straw so I finally moved out to A-AAA Key. The laneways are very narrow. Barely enough room to squeeze two cars through. Some of the areas have crumbling pavement or steep, uneven pavement. The entrance way is a very sharp turn so larger vehicles and vehicles with trailers will have trouble driving through here. I've noticed driving to my unit on the weekends that people will hangout around the storage units or congregate near the outdoor power outlets. I've never felt safe visiting my own unit and definitely didn't let my wife come here by herself.

She went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed to store and access our inventory. She even let us use the dumpster on rare occasion for minor packing material. She is excellent!
