I went to Lowe’s in Stillwater Oklahoma to purchase screen doors for my duplex@ 1:00 PM. I asked three people for help. The first young lady ignored me, then told me she would send someone to help me. Meanwhile she passed by the aisle we were waiting for service at least 4-5 times. The second person told us that someone would come to assist us when they were finished with another customer. They never helped us. I passed by several people with Lowe’s vests on. Then the last person was stationed at the self checkout. He was very cheerful and greeted us on the way out of the store. By this time, I was totally disgusted and decided not to purchase anything from this store. I witnessed blatant racism. My friend and I have spent thousands of dollars in this store. I am totally disappointed in the service. If there was a 0 rating I would give a 0 rating.

On top of this already being a terribly managed store, after now knowing that Lowe’s has flock cameras, which should be illegal, at every entrance/exit point I will no longer do business with them. This is blanket surveillance on everyday normal citizens that collects data about you, your vehicle, your location habits etc. These should be banned and the fact that you can’t enter a Lowe’s parking lot without your face and your vehicle being scanned and it all being saved as data points for 3rd party companies and law enforcement to access without warrants is completely absurd. Not only do they capture your face and license plate but any distinguishing marks on your car. Stickers, scratches, dents etc. Lowe’s corporate; just look at all your 1 star reviews about this location that you have done nothing about and now this on top of all that !!! Goodbye Lowe’s !!! You will not get a cent more from me !!!

On June 29, 2025, I purchased a GE Washer/Dryer set from Lowe's in Stillwater, which included a three-year warranty. However, on March 15, 2026, the dryer malfunctioned; the start button stopped working and popped-out. Concerned about safety, I unplugged the dryer to prevent any electrical issues.
The following day, March 16, 2026, I visited the appliance department at Lowe's, where a representative confirmed that the appliance was still under warranty and provided me with the GE Customer Service number. After calling GE, I was assured that I would receive a callback within 24 hours (March 17, 2026), but that never happened.
I returned to Lowe's on March 18, 2026, and was given the Lowe's Claims number. Unfortunately, the Claims representative informed me that he couldn’t assist because Lowe's warranty takes effect only after the first-year. I was not informed about this during my earlier visit on March 16. Instead, I was encouraged to return to the Lowe's in Stillwater if the issue was not resolved to my satisfaction, as they (Lowe's reps) said they would be willing to help.
After making a second and third call to GE Customer Service, I finally received a claim number but was told it could take several days for someone to come and service my dryer. Meanwhile, I have been without a working dryer for multiple days, and the back-and-forth communication from various Lowe's and GE reps consumed a lot of my time. It is frustrating that, as a customer who has invested in a major appliance(s), I cannot get the help I need, especially since it is clear that the dryer is defective. Why not simply replace the defective appliance? That seems like the most sensible solution.
