- KBKeith BunnhMar 30, 20262.0Honestly finding our storage unit was very difficult as the area my unit is at is not on Apple Maps as well as the first units we went to we were going to as the office where our unit was but the office was locked at 10am when it’s supposed to open at 9:30am (to my understanding) then when I called the next day no one answered, we had found our unit but I’ve never used a storage unit before so sense it was zip tide and the tag said “available to rent” I was concerned it wasn’t ready, thats why I called but no one answered, (I am not sure when offices close and it was at least 8:30pm when I called because I had just got off work not too upset no one answered) left a voicemail and had someone call me the next morning, the man who called said he was the GM but he was condescending, saying “in the email it SHOULD have said the lock is in the unit” great but the email didn’t say I may need a pair of scissors to cut the zip tie or that it would said available to rent still on the unit, it was a frustrating experience. Finally the second day in the unit and their is a workers truck parked at the back where they are fixing the wooden fence which would be fine but my SUV could not fit and backing out was not something I was prepared to do (as I do not have depth perception) and they did not send an email or anything about this worker truck which feels very unprofessional. Again this is my first time using a storage unit these things may be normal but I would hope an other places would show more respect and care for their customers. When my stay is over I will post another review if anything gets better or worse while I am there, if not this will be my only review.
