Bought a new washer and dryer a week ago. The washer will not run full cycle without getting off balance. I called the appliance department and asked if I could exchange for a different washer and dryer and was informed by the manager that since I paid cash I should have returned it within 48 hours. If on the other hand I had used a lowes card I could have exchanged it even up to 30 days. I was not informed of this penalty when I bought it. He did say that there are signs. I would think something like that would be verbalized. Now im stuck with a brand new washer that doesn't work. I will need to contact the manufacturer. To be fair they will send someone out to rebalance. I just don't have much faith in that. Nor do I have much faith and trust in lowes anymore. They wouldn't take a message for the general manager or provide a time for me to call them back. I was told the general manager doesn't respond to customer service questions or concerns. Ugh. Disgusted

When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
