I received a phone call this morning that the building my unit is in had been broken into overnight and my unit was compromised. After further investigation and working with the police (also speaking with other unit renters), I learned this is NOT THE FIRST TIME this same building has been burglarized - it’s happened several times this year! The thieves gain access the same way and ownership has not implemented any additional security measures to protect their renters. I returned to my unit this evening and the fence is still down, meaning anyone can access the facility. The camera was not replaced and remains spray painted. I have 2 units here, I pay the premium price, but I will be relocating elsewhere. *And yes, I have insurance; however, insurance does no good when items are irreplaceable.
