Me and my husband came across some of the nicest most helpful employees at this Lawton location. One big strong guy picked our shower base up with one arm and put it on our cart and pointed us to the direction of everything else we would need and another guy came along to help us with drains and plumbing but when it came time to check out we were lost and confused with the self checkout but the nicest lady named Roberta came and helped us get our stuff situated and had some much patience with us, I didn't even want to remodel that day so it was nice to be greeted by great people that day.

Everytime I go here I have an issue with terrible customer service! I’m a local contractor and spend a lot of money here but tend to avoid going here because of how I’m treated. I had a customer buy a door online and I had to pick it up. Turned into a hour and a half ordeal from incovincing the employees to help me. After the lady restarted her phone for 20 minutes she said my order wasn’t ready. I asked her when it would be ready and she said I could pull it from the store if I really needed it. I asked if she could send someone to help me she scoffed and walked away. An exterior door is pretty heavy btw. After I pulled it myself from the isle and brought it to pick up. I struggled to find an employee to help. (There were plenty socializing or standing around.). Finally found one that was willing and the store manager Elena pulls her away from me to find her some pencils. After getting checked out I asked if someone could help me load. But I had to load myself because I was clearly asking too much. Everytime I go here it’s a similar experience and I leave angry.

My husband and I had an interaction with Michael in the pick up area Lawton Lowe’s and unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. There were several instances where he demonstrated a lack of understanding of the task at hand. For example, him saying our order was not there and there’s nothing he can do about it when in reality it was there just took quite some time and another employee to actually help us and no apology for his misunderstanding. While I understand that everyone has areas for improvement, the level of incompetence displayed was concerning. I hope that he receives the necessary training and support to improve his skills and performance in the future.
