I ordered a fridge on Nov 16th, was scheduled for Dec 7th as it wasnt in store. Dec 6th they changed it to the 14th. Dec 13th they changed it to the 22nd. Dec 21st they changed it to the 29th. Quit selling appliances you dont have, it doesnt take over a month to ship a fridge anywhere in the country. Taking my personal and business purchases to Home Depot and Menards.

We were trying to purchase a washing machine today. My husband wrote a check for the full amount and it was refused even though we have several thousand dollars in our account. He had to use a credit card. I believe we'll shop elsewhere next time we need an appliance.

Lowe’s has completely failed at every stage of my appliance delivery, and at this point, the situation is unacceptable. I expected a basic level of communication and professionalism, and instead I’ve dealt with repeated negligence, zero accountability, and the worst customer service experience I’ve had with any retailer. My appliance was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday. Instead of notifying me when they first knew at 9 AM that the delivery wouldn’t happen, Lowe’s waited until 3:30 PM to call—after I had already taken the entire day off work and wasted hours waiting with no communication whatsoever. Despite purchasing the appliance at the Troy, OH location, my call was transferred to multiple places until I ended up with someone in Chicago who at least acknowledged the poor communication and issued a small credit. He rescheduled the delivery for Saturday, which meant taking off work again. Saturday’s delivery window was 1 PM–5 PM. At 3 PM, I was told the drivers were 1.5 hours behind. At 5:11 PM, I was told they were 15 minutes away. At 5:27 PM, I received a text saying my appliance had arrived. By 6:11 PM, an entire hour after they claimed they were minutes away, no one had shown up and my calls went straight to voicemail. The delivery hub didn’t answer either. I called the Troy store, and the customer service desk transferred me to Tiffany, the manager on duty, whose response was completely unacceptable. She showed no concern, no urgency, and no willingness to help. She dismissed the issue entirely as “delivery’s problem” and refused to take ownership despite the fact that the store is where the purchase was made. Her lack of customer service skills was shocking. When I finally reached the delivery hub again, I was told the drivers claimed they “couldn’t get up my driveway.” This is simply untrue—I have cameras covering every angle, and not once did a truck attempt to pull in. The hub admitted the drivers did not follow protocol and failed to contact me or their supervisor before abandoning the delivery. To make matters worse, they then informed me they have no new delivery date. My paid-for appliance is now sitting on a truck somewhere with no plan, no urgency, and no one taking responsibility. Both the Troy store and the delivery hub continue to point fingers at each other rather than resolving the issue. The communication failures, the misinformation, the wasted time, and the complete lack of accountability are unacceptable. I will not be shopping at Lowe’s again. Period. This entire ordeal has shown me exactly how little Lowe’s values their customers.
