Good selection of items. Some things can be quite a bit more expensive than what you find at Menards.

Good place. They have cool tools and wood. You can totally buy things and make a dream house for your dog... or yourself. Whatever works for you.

Here’s a stronger, more detailed version that clearly captures everything while still sounding credible and impactful: ⸻ I would never recommend this store for any kind of In person, low shopping.I had one of the most upsetting and unacceptable retail experiences of my life at the Lowe’s Home Improvement on the 21st. I was in the store from approximately 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.—on my mother’s birthday—and what should have been a routine shopping trip turned into a humiliating and stressful ordeal. To be clear, my Lowe’s credit card worked perfectly earlier in the visit in the garden/flower department and even worked again later when I got home, which made the issues at checkout even more confusing and concerning. When I attempted to complete my larger purchase, the transaction was repeatedly flagged for fraud despite me actively working with the fraud department on the phone in front of staff to resolve it. What was most disturbing was the way I was treated by employees. At the beginning of my visit, the interactions were normal, but by the end, I was met with a completely different attitude—cold, dismissive, and unprofessional. I was not once looked in the eye, and there was no effort made to communicate, assist, or show even basic empathy. While I stood there on the phone trying to fix the issue, employees began putting large portions of my order back without asking or understanding what was happening. In total, I had around 20 items, and they put most of them away, ultimately only allowing me to purchase a small portion of what I had selected. To make matters worse, I was told I could not complete my purchase because “the system was down” and the store was closed—yet at the same time, a loudspeaker announcement instructed customers to bring their items to the front for checkout, and I witnessed other customers actively being checked out right in front of me. Despite pointing this out, I was still denied the opportunity to complete my purchase. The entire experience was not only frustrating but deeply embarrassing. I was left standing there, unsupported, confused, and ultimately overwhelmed to the point that I left the store in tears. I also received no assistance loading the items I was able to purchase, despite clearly struggling. Due to arthritis, carpal tunnel, and a neck injury, lifting heavier items—such as a 13.9-gallon trash can—is extremely difficult. I had to rely on a bystander for help, which should never happen in a retail environment where customer assistance is expected. This experience was not just poor customer service—it was a complete failure in professionalism, communication, and basic human decency. I have never felt more embarrassed or mistreated in a store. I strongly urge management to review staff behavior, provide proper training, and ensure that no other customer is treated this way.

Everyone was so willing to help and didn't make us feel we were asking for too much help. They were so polite. It is much appreciated!
