    The customer service at Lowe’s is horrible. With the exception of Marge who works in carpet-she is awesome and knows her craft! Very knowledgeable and precise in her work. A younger guy that works in appliances was so rude a few days before Black Friday. I asked him about appliances and installation and he said, “If you can plug in a dishwasher, you can install it”. Many times the floor staff act like they don’t want to be there and the customer is bothering them. I said hello to one of the staff people in tools and he just looked at me. Did not speak at all. What a horrible experience! It was not only me but other people who had questions, he didn’t even look at them. He worked in tools. I spent over $100 on a security camera. I don’t have to buy from there! Overall the service there is terrible. Even when I ordered carpet a few years ago, it was so many departments involved to just buy the product, and have it delivered and installed. And even the guys who installed the carpet were trying not to finish the job because they said it wasn’t enough product, when I know it was. And it more than enough, and he changed his tune when I called the store to see if enough product was delivered. He just didn’t want to finish the job. And if you go there past 5pm forget about anyone helping you. They act annoyed that you’re there. I only continue to go because it’s close to my house but after this last experience, I’m going to make the trip to Menards. At least they know how to treat customers. No one is asking to be treated like royalty, but a simple greeting is customer service 101.

    We were shopping for flooring and had the most helpful and knowledgeable sales specialist, Mason Beggrow. He made some great suggestions and ideas and the information he gave us will be very useful. Thank you for having such good employees!

    ***DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM LOWES *** We purchased (3) stackable LG washer and dryers Sept 24 of this year. The first trip they didn’t have the hardware to stack the units and damaged the washer. The second crew informed me that the Lowe’s’ provided duct was incorrect and a fire hazard. I then noticed that they failed to use a stress relief connector on the power cord . Again, a major fire hazard. Lowes did not have the correct duct supplies so I ordered them off Amazon. We rescheduled a fourth trip and they damaged our master bedroom washer when installing the correct vents and stress connector. The basement washer and dryer were never ran through a required test run . When we went to turn the washer on it had an error message of low or no water pressure. We then went to try the dryer and it was full of parts. If this wasn’t enough when they left they ran over our mailbox. Lowes now refuses to honor their delivery damages and are trying to to send us to LG for warranty. LG HAS NOW SENT US BACK TO LOWES.

    My family and I were racially profiled at Lowe’s on Black Friday when staff insisted they had seen us stealing Carhartt jackets on the cameras, even though my partner’s jacket was a completely different color from the ones we tried on. After reviewing the footage with them, it became clear they were wrong and we hadn’t taken anything. Despite falsely accusing us and causing significant embarrassment and distress, they offered no sincere apology or any form of compensation. The experience showed a serious lack of training, professionalism, and awareness of racial bias. Cody, the assistant manager, simply directed me to contact corporate—and that’s exactly what I’ll be doing.
