They subcontracted with Toledo Custom Countertops, which we had no say in, & the work was not done properly. Subcontractor shimmed an area too high so now not level, plus a seam wasn’t sealed properly, & you can visibly see how bad it is in attached picture. Have gone round & round with both parties to no avail. They’re trying to say that our cabinets must’ve been unlevel. Three other professionals have come to inspect, all have agreed the work was awful. All we asked Lowe’s to do was fix the uneven section. They refused, so we reported to BBB, & now are sending letter to Attorney General for investigation & small claims. When you pay thousands of dollars for home improvement, you should have the work done properly & be treated with respect. Absolutely horrible experience!

From their deals on tools to their deals on appliances I spend a good portion of time going throughout the entire store every time I go. These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
