My 77-year-old aunt paid in full for new countertops, cabinets, sink, dishwasher, and professional installation. Lowe’s never installed the sink or connected the dishwasher, leaving her without running water or a working dishwasher for FOUR full weeks. My cousin had to step in and temporarily connect the water lines just so she could have basic access to her kitchen sink. Now Lowe’s is refusing to finish the job and demanding extra money, claiming my cousin’s temporary fix “voids the contract.” This is unacceptable and borderline predatory treatment of an elderly customer. Zero accountability, zero urgency, and zero compassion. Do NOT use Lowe’s for any major renovation if you expect them to actually finish what they were paid to do. Avoid at all costs.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase.
