Usually its a better experience but today I required help in electrical. The employee said I don't do that department. Said the man that does wouldn't be there until 2:30. So I asked to see the wire and he replied all I can do is cut the length. He really wasn't helpful. I left and drive to Home Depot. 75$ later I had what I needed.

I just received a washer and dryer from Lowe’s. And the washer and dryer seemed to be OK and the delivery was great, but the dryer came with the wrong cord. I am a caregiver on my days off so it’s very hard for me to sit at home and wait for a delivery person so I had to wait for three weeks to have them delivered till I had a day free. and when they were delivered, the dryer came with the wrong cord so I called the store and they want to set up another day which you have to keep the whole day open because they give you a 12 hour span and do not give you the four hour window till the morning of. I do not have another day off to wait for them until the first of the year. I can go pick up the cord, but you have to wire it into the dryer. they will not send somebody out today when everything was supposed to be delivered.. I talked to the manager John at the manor Lowe’s and they are not willing to correct the situation except scheduling another 12 hour day that I cannot sit at home and wait for them.. I will not deal with Lowe’s again. !

I'll be honest with you I Used to Be Home Depot guy through and through. Recently it seems like Lowe's has more in stock not to mention it's easier to find things. They're pro Department is the bee's knees. So let's just say I'm a Lowe's guy now.

Warning to all customers who are buying a front door from Lowes in Mentor. They took my money in full for a front door I purchased in Dec. 2024. Came 3 months later and had a company names By Tor install it incorrectly. Here I am 10months later and Lowes has done nothing to help get this door properly replaced, actually they just don't call back. We have taken off work 8 times for a scheduled appointment only to be called 30 after appointment to say By Tor is not coming. Sad that we now have to resort to filing a complaint with the Ohio Attorney Generals - Consumer Complaint Division to hopefully finally get a door that was ordered about 1 yr. now. Go to Home Depot for service
