- JDJim DentonFeb 8, 20261.0Went to Lowe’s Marion to get a quart of paint matched for a project I was working on. I went to the paint desk and no one was there waited a couple minutes still no one come look at thet desk which is located right in front of paint desk there was 2 workers standing there with no customers to wait on. I pressed the button to have someone come to the paint desk the voice came over the store PA that help was needed at the paint desk. Now there is 3 people at the service desk with no customers, there was 2 other Lowe’s employees standing about 10 feet away again not helping anyone. I waited for several more minutes and walked out of the store one of the women that were standing at the service desk stops me in the parking lot and tells me that she can help me come back in the store and she will help. I explained that I had waited long enough with no help and I was going to another store. This store continues to decline in their service it is a shame. I think this all started with Lowe’s having self serve check outs, they do not make customer service important here at this store.

I tried to return the product after being snowed in for a week, but the customer service representative instantly said they don’t accept returns after 48 hours. She didn’t greet me, ask for a receipt, or if I bought it within 48 hours. I asked for the manager, Kyle, who made an exception. The policy is clear, and my return was within the time frame and unused. I was treated as if I was lyin. Ultimately, I did return my product after about 10 mins of agruing.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
