- JMJohn McCainApr 24, 20263.02nd time I ordered a grill to be assembled and delivered and they call the day of delivery to say the assembly team had an emergency and failed to complete on time. The assembly should have been completed at least one day ahead of delivery time. If not, I would expect a call at least a day before to reschedule so I do not waste my time waiting on day of delivery. They offered to have me come and pick it up once assembled = while it would be nice for me to do their job - I paid for delivery. I hope someone is keeping a tally on missed deliveries and the number of emergencies they have impacting delivery timeframes. Need some Quality Control here.

I ordered retaining wall blocks with next day delivery. Next day delivery turned into 3 day delivery. On day 4 I called and was told that their delivery truck is broken and they are week(s) behind in deliveries. Their offered solution cancel the order and try at a different store. So much for my spring break plans.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
