I went in there for wood. What I wanted was right there in front of the desk and very easy to locate.
I had originally went to Menards and they wanted us to walk through a building to go to another building and by the time I got halfway out there I thought you know what I'm not doing all this I'll just pick it up with my car. When I got up front I just found out there was some desk clear back there that I could have ordered it from. Considering two guys told us to walk all the way through and go all the way out the door etc. I didn't understand why they didn't tell us about that desk in the first place. I even looked at them and said well that's less than ideal as I had a child with me who's usually in a cart but was not this time. So after getting all the way back up to the front to be told I had to go back somewhere that I just pretty much came from and it had already been a long work day. Needless to say I was not very happy. I think when asking the two workers what we were looking for would have been the time to say hey you can order at that desk and pick it up outside. I left Menards and went to Lowe's for what I needed ant it was right in front of the desk you came in by and inside. I had already wasted 10 minutes looking through all the wood at Menards then walked halfway through the other building to get by the building that I could see was clearly outside and wasn't going to be quick before turning around to go to the registers. I figure I wasted at least 20 minutes inside Menards by the time it was done.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
