  Master Clock Repair provided an excellent experience from start to finish. From the initial phone call through drop-off and pick-up, they were consistently professional, kind, and informative. When we picked up the clock, they took the time to walk us through how to properly care for it, how to keep it running smoothly, and how to maintain the best time accuracy possible for an older piece. Their attention to detail and willingness to share their expertise really stood out. We truly enjoyed working with Master Clock Repair and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of clock repair or maintenance.

  My grandfather clock had been in storage for a year. The key was lost in storage and the clock was inoperable for another year. I contacted Michael Gainey and and he drove to Cincinnati to bring my clock back to life. Michael explained everything he did to the clock as I watched. He thoroughly cleaned and oiled the mechanism and set the time. He gave me a reminder class on how to adjust the time, and the proper way to raise the weights. He was greatly instructive and directed me to his website where there is a wealth on information. My husband and I are now enjoying the beautiful sound of the chimes. I would highly recommend Michael Gainey; his experience and expertise are masterful.

  Master Clock Repair did an outstanding job servicing our early 1900s Seth Thomas clock, which has been the centerpiece of our 1880s courtroom for more than 125 years. To our knowledge, the clock had never left the courthouse, so sending it out for repair was a big decision — but absolutely the right one. After years of neglect and persistent timing issues, the clock is now working beautifully. Michael Gainey was professional, extremely knowledgeable, and even took the time to teach me more about the history, proper maintenance and the mechanics of our clock before returning it to the courtroom. I originally found Master Clock Repair through Google reviews, and they did not disappoint. If you need expert clock repair, this is the place to go.

  Michael came to our home earlier this week to repair a grandfather clock that we received as a gift from a dear friend. A gear had fallen off when we moved the clock from Toledo to Grove City. Michael quickly reattached the gear and checked out the other inner workings as well. This is the first grandfather clock we have ever owned. Michael patiently answered all of our questions and left us feeling much more confident about how to properly care for the newest addition to our family. We are deeply appreciative and will definitely use his services in the future.
