- AAAngelMar 28, 20261.0I haven't visited this store in years so I decided to check it out again to see if they had something I needed. The experience I had tonight was the farthest from feeling ""At Home" When we first walked in, there was a store employee that greeted us by telling us that the store closes in one hour. So already we felt rushed and unwelcomed. You could tell the employees were miserable and rushing people out because they just wanted to close up shop. I've never had a business warn me that they're going to close in an hour. Maybe 30 minutes AT MOST, and that's a stretch. When we looked around the store it was dirty and the selection sucked. It was far from the colorful vibrant store that I remembered years ago with lots of selection. Everything was picked over too. Also, as we walked the store, an employee was constantly coming on to the loud speaker to remind everybody what time it was and how many minutes they had left to shop. The vibe here reminded me more of a warehouse or a prison than anything. Once I found something that I needed, I approached the cashier and was met with an unkempt beefy black lady who was too busy playing on her phone to be bothered so she directed me to another cashier. The gentleman was nice and helpful. He helped me try to find out the correct price on the item I needed. Once he finally found the price, I asked him if it was on sale (because that is the whole reason I came here in the first place. It was advertised that everything was 15-20% off) he told me the item wasn't on sale. That same lady stood there at her register next to us and started snickering at me. She was extremely rude. Excuse me ma'am but I wouldn't be laughing at anyone when you are a middle aged woman working as a cashier. You are not better than anyone. Needless to say, I left empty handed and will not be returning to this store. I will also let others know about this horrible experience and advise not to shop here.
