- CPConnie PesterNov 1, 20171.0Called for a price to launder a bedspread, was quoted 12.98,, the actual price was 39.68 (this was a simple item purchased at Sears - nothing fancy (should have just bought a new one, me bad). When I picked it up I paid for it with my debit card. Got home, checked my bank account and I had been charged TWICE for the service. Called Metropolitan and was told *I* had to resolve with my bank, not their problem (in the background I heard employees saying they wished their machine would quit doing this!). Advise watching these people carefully.......they won't be getting any more of my business. Unethical and no customer service.
