- LCL CMar 16, 20261.0The pricing model here is honestly a complete joke. I started renting my unit at $99/month. Within a short time it increased to $169, and now it’s $264/month. That’s nearly triple the original price. Everyone understands that a promotional rate may eventually increase. One adjustment would be understandable. But multiple increases within a relatively short time frame starts to feel like a tactic rather than normal market pricing. People are busy. Once you’ve already moved all your belongings into storage, the company knows that moving everything again is a huge inconvenience, and the repeated increases seem to rely on that fact. When I called to discuss the latest increase before canceling, there was no attempt to work with me or retain the customer, just the same explanation that it reflects “market rates.” Customers should simply be aware of how quickly the price can escalate after move-in. There are locally owned storage facilities in the area with much more stable pricing, and I would strongly recommend looking into those first. Boardman Oh
