Needless to say, I declined, and they agreed to an exchange. To begin with, I had to wait an extra week for this workbench because the assemblers didn’t show up on their Wednesday regular assembly date. Why would Lowe’s even let this out of the store in this condition? Equally, what kind of assemblers do they have? Tommy, the lead delivery guy, was helpful, professional, and empathetic. I could tell that he just didn’t know what to say about the situation, though. Anyway, the exchange/replacement workbench is supposed to be delivered on Saturday. I’m so hopeful that it will arrive in new, out-of-the-box condition, with NO damage…
