- FSfaubert stvil6 days ago1.0I spent over $2,000 at Lowe’s Companies, Inc. for an all-in-one washer and dryer and the delivery experience has been one of the worst retail experiences I’ve ever had. I had to wake up early and miss work twice because of three failed delivery attempts. Every time I dealt with a different answer from Lowe’s, the delivery hub, dispatch, or the third-party delivery company. One person says delivery is approved, another says it isn’t. One says the drivers are coming, then they never show up. On one attempt the team said the space was too small after Lowe’s had already approved delivery. On another attempt I received a text saying the delivery was on the way, but no one ever arrived. After spending over $2,000 and losing income waiting for deliveries that never happened properly, this experience has been extremely disappointing. If this situation isn’t resolved quickly, I will likely take my future appliance purchases to The Home Depot instead.

On the way there, I realized we needed 3 more than I ordered so my husband did have to go inside to grab those. He asked them where curbside pickup was located and they gave him the wrong location. He finally found it, but the app said order wasn't found to actually check in. He called and they said they checked him in over the phone. After 30 minutes, he went back inside and they gave him the blocks and told him no one had checked him in. Not even an offer to help them get in the car, almost like that was their plan all along and they just didn't want to go outside....so much for making it easier on him? We'll definitely stick with home depot next time.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
