So I have been wanting to switch over to Dewalt and pulled the trigger on a combo set on sale. I had a gift card for Lowes along with some birthday money so said what the heck. When we went to the Avon store, first associate was helping another customer while we were in the Dewalt section then just walked away and he saw us there!
So we flagged two other guys who were great helping us. However the one guy said something that if I buy a 3 year extended warranty ($22.99 so no big deal) when I go to purchase dewalt batteries in the future I will get a 50% rebate. Well I did a couple of searches and can find no proof of this, however I did get my extended warranty details today and it it does say for maintenance and care items you do get that. And you get up to $100 back per year, I am tempted to buy a battery from them now to try it out.
FYI Home Depot beats Lowes prices every day on the same exact products which is why I no longer go there. And it's a pain in the butt to get them to price match, took 15 minutes years ago for the same Werner ladder.

I would rate Lowes a zero if it was an option. We ordered windows from lowes for our home. When install day came, I had scheduled a day off work. The installers who came and measured called me and said some of the window designs appeared to be different from what was on the order and discussed at the install walkthrough. The sizes were correct, but design of the mutton bars was wrong. They suggested we could do the install, and lowes would replace the sashes due to the wrong part ordered.
Well since that day, it has been nothing but lies and bs from everyone we have spoken to, both in store and on the line with customer service. Their managers are a joke and dont return calls when promised, they don't answer the phone on follow up calls, and the entire experience has been absolutely terrible.
Lowes has wasted more of our time, and now money, with absolutely terrible customer service. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM LOWES.
This extends past just the store, as we spoke to their "Region" manager with the same broken promises and lack of follow through.
Congrats on losing a customer and creating an advocate to let everyone know to avoid your stores.
