Unfortunately wasn’t able to use them and with moving/the holidays/single parenting and working full time I wasn’t able to make it back to the store until today to return. When I arrived at the store at 11:26, the person working at the returns department told me I was outside the 90 day window, I was only outside the 90 day window by two days so he said to come back in an hour when his manager came in and he would override it. I decided to wait as long as I could as I heard him speak to the manager on their work phone and the manager said he was at the store already (it was communicated to the manager at that point so he was aware he was going to be overriding a 92 day return)- I waited 40 minutes he still wasn’t able to make it to the front so I had to leave. I asked the sales associate if said manager would still be there at about 3 o’clock, and that I would return- the sales associate said yes. I returned to the store at 3 o’clock and I’m assuming what is a different manager named Alister told me they are absolutely not going to override it as they are supposedly unable to anymore although it really seems more like self discretion since a manager earlier in the day was agreeable to it. Thank you for wasting my time (twice) this is one of the many reasons why Home Depot is superior. $66 to Lowes is a drop in the bucket, $66 to a single mom is groceries for a couple meals.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
