The cashier was helping two customers and some other employee was trying to get them a protection plan for 10 minutes and clearly in no hurry at all. Me and other people behind me are waiting in line. They’re completely oblivious to us the entire time. 3 other employees just chilling behind them talking about whatever. I buy the plumbing adaptor piece I need. Bring it home. As soon as I turned the water on, it snaps immediately and ruined my faucet with it. I didn’t pull on it, bend it. Nothing. Just a defective piece that ruined my faucet too. There was no getting the broken piece out with pliers or anything. Lowes replaced the little $10 adaptor but refused to cover my faucet that clearly broke as a direct result of this item. 2 stars for at least giving a discount after haggling back and forth for a bit. But still doesn’t change the fact I had to pay out of pocket to fix my faucet as a direct result of a faulty piece they sold. TLDR: big line and all checkouts closed. Employees are all just chilling behind one cash register hanging around while a line of customers formed. Finally bought the piece. It broke and broke my faucet too. Lowes refused to cover it fully.

I called ahead about purchasing two Schlage door sets and specifically asked if they could be keyed alike. Attendant said no problem! When I go to pick them up, the hardware department supervisor Luke, flat-out refused to help. He said there was “nothing he could do” and that it wasn’t his problem. No attempt to offer a solution, no alternatives from Lowe's, no effort. Total lack of accountability and said to go to a locksmith. If a hardware supervisor can’t handle something as common as matching keys on door locks, what exactly is the point of having one? I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
