  My father and I came in having done the research online first. But when we got there, of course we knew somethings maybe a little different then that which was offered online because there are several locations. Miss Shatana was very polite very understanding. She was also very cordial and professional. We laughed and she was very informative about her position. We did understand that she has only been there a little over a month, However, it seems like she has her task under control. I wanted a storage unit on the first floor, but she showed us a unit on the fourth floor. She sold us by pointing out everything that surrounded our storage, such as the bathroom and the staircase which were very important to us, are just a few steps away. Also, I went in, not wanting to have water lines going throughout my storage unit but she did offer some great suggestions which we will take, not only to protect our stuff through the insurance that she offered, but also of somethings we can do to self protect. So in a whole, Miss Shatana’s professionalism, knowledge and personality I was sold us the storage unit. Not to mention the price was great.

  Extra space storage was very accommodating, clean, temp controlled, easy access to the building!! I would rent storage space from them again i a heartbeat if ever needed!! I also recommend to my friends and family, whether it’s short term or long-term, they have what you need!! Customer service was also very friendly and knowledgeable!!

  Jorge is the very best! I needed a temporary storage room after hours and booked it online but when I got there the unit I booked was on an upper floor, and the door didn't close all the way. I was stressed. I had limited time with the rental truck and now I would have to return during business hours 9:30am -6pm the next day. When I arrived, I explained the situation to Jorge and he listened intently, understood my concerns and switched my unit, gave me an upgrade for the inconvenience and checked in on me frequently to make sure I didn't need anything else. What a gem! Thank you Jorge! You're a wonderful human!

  It's really important to read contracts before signing them. If you're like me, though, you might be tempted to not dig too deep on what seems to be a very straightforward arrangement, such as exchange an amount of money for access to an amount of space in a storage unit. Seems simple, right? The initial attraction to a place like this is a low rate. I have a small apartment, and don't necessarily have room to store air conditioner units, tools, etc over the winter, so I figured $20/mo was a good deal. Which it was. But then, a few months does the road... surprise! Rent is doubled without notice! After a phone call, I discovered this is apparently standard practice in the industry. And, as I learned during this call, rent will most likely go up again. "It's all in the contract." is the line that excuses this. So, now that I've got a 5x5 hole in the wall stuffed with my things, they've got me. It's a pain to go move it all out, and it seems this company, and the industry at large, depend on this to extract maximum profit from their patrons. Needless to say, I will be moving my items out and will just live with them in the house somewhere. A deal too good to be true. Don't bother reading the contract, just don't rent here.
