I had a very unpleasant experience with a manager named Vinny. Yesterday, I saw a shopping cart sitting in the middle of the aisle with only a bottle of Windex in it. Assuming it had been left there by another shopper, I took the Windex out and used the cart.
Out of nowhere, Vinny loudly yelled down the aisle, “Hey, you took my cart!” I immediately went back to apologize, thinking it belonged to another customer, and tried to return it. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he responded in a very rude and dismissive way, saying he would just get another cart and refusing to take it back.
His tone and attitude were completely unnecessary and unprofessional. As a manager, he should be setting an example for customer service, not speaking to customers in such a nasty manner. Based on this interaction, I don’t feel comfortable returning and believe this behavior should be addressed.

Lowes is my new go to for my jobs for the past 5 years or so. Much better selection and more efficient than the competition and we have the big ones to choose from

This is not a joke… Whatever you guys do don’t use them for any fencing installations… I used the Stony Brook, New York location… I knew it was doomed from the start when the sales rep who supposed to do the measurements came two hours late and nowThere’s a company called Northface that they just parted ways with that used to do their fencing projects and they completely botched and ruined our project… And now where the post was supposed to be that goes into the cement to hold the gate door is leaking water when it rains heavy outside into my basement… I have the photos, but unfortunately, I can’t upload them on this review… Stay clear and Lowes still hasn’t even attempted to get this taken care of immediately, I keep getting different operators and the runaround from everyone.. it’s 4/26/26 right now and I got my job done back in March.. and I’m still waiting to hear back from them… Lowes is trash

Went to lowes in stony brook tonight looking for muriatic acid. 2 employees didn't know what it was and couldn't even pronounce it. Each Checked their little device and said the store didn't carry it. I found it on my own and when I got home I realized the acid on the shelf was wasn't active because it had been on the shelf for an extended period of time. Yes, acid had a shelf life. I'll be going to home depot for all of my home needs moving forward.. lowes is a hack company .....

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
