It completely mislead and lied about stock inventory despite being asked specifically and having an alleged assistant helping. After being mislead into purchasing and discovering the items would not be available as indicated I contacted the Stony Brook location, who disavowed any responsibility claiming that I should not have used the AI as it is not reliable. The store refused to make any accommodations or offer any compensation for the egregious error. I literally could have just bought the products from Amazon for two day free delivery. I am never purchasing from Lowe’s again.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
