  I arrived home yesterday after a couple of days away and was horrified to find a maggot infestation in the trash area outside my house. I'm bug phobic and had never seen maggots before in my life so I was in an awful panic and desperate for help asap. There were a ridiculous amount of maggots, not only in the trash area but crawling up the building towards my windows and front door. I immediately started looking for an exterminator service to help before the maggot invasion got worse. I spent close to an hour making calls for same or next morning and was having no luck at all. Then I saw Mike's ad for One Hour Pest Control and decided to take a chance. I called (after 3pm) and couldn't have been happier with the outcome. Mike was a godsend. He actually answered the phone, listened to my dilemma and even though I'm not in the general service area of One Hour Pest (I'm in Nassau County) he went out of his way to send me one of his exterminators within a few hours of my call !! The gentleman who came to help me out was terrific. He spent over an hour removing the infested trash bags and maggots out of the trash area and then thoroughly sprayed the entire front of building with repellent. The maggots are completely gone and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend One Hour Pest Control to anyone in need of reasonable, reliable and outstanding extermination services.   Moved into a new place to discover a pest problem in the middle of the night. There was no way I was going to sleep. Called One Hour and had a technician arrive very quickly. Good price, great service. Highly recommend and would definitely use again.

Their same-day service is a godsend. Darryl is a consummate professional who throughly and expertly inspected and sprayed our residence. Highly recommended!

  I am extremely pleased with the experience I had with One Hour Pest Control! They were educated, experienced, and very understanding of the situation I had.   There really are no words to express how grateful we are to One Hour Pest Control. Two nights ago, when it was pouring out, a squirrel broke into our bathroom and would not leave. I wish we called One Hour Pest Control immediately and saved ourselves hours of insanity. Instead we called our building's security and they came and were just as scared of the squirrel as we were. They suggested we call animal control. We called 311 to get in contact with animal control and were told that animal control closes at 8pm. I guess they don't think wild animals do anything past that time. 311 ended up connecting us with 911. Yes 911! We told them our situation and two hours later, two NYPD officers came and while we appreciate them coming to our rescue, alas no rescue was made. They put on gloves and tried poking the squirrel with a stick for a few tense minutes and then they left. They said there was nothing they could do. The squirrel was not going anywhere and we were losing our minds. That was when I finally searched "squirrel removal" in Yelp and found One Hour Pest Control. Mike is the epitome of first class customer service. He was friendly, patient and professional. He was able to put me at ease via phone calls and text, while he dispatched Frank to us who finally took care of what no one else could. Frank arrived and despite it being past 1am and soaked from the storm outside, greeted us with a smile and simply asked for a bucket and a towel. He bravely went into our bathroom and shortly after, came out and nonchalantly informed us we had our bathroom back. He explained to us how he got the squirrel to go back out the window and even gave us a quick squirrel 101 lesson. On top of all that, he offered to clean up in the bathroom since the rug and a few bottles of shampoos and soaps were displaced in the commotion. I said absolutely not. My husband and I were just extremely relieved and elated at that point that the long night was finally over. A long night that could have been avoided had we reached out to Mike, Frank and the One Hour Pest Control team from the get go. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, do yourself a favor and just call One Hour Pest Control. They are amazing at what they do and for a reasonable price!
