    I wish I had no words. But I have plenty to warn you about. Buyer beware. Our construction business decided to give Lowes a try, for cabinets and countertop, on a kitchen makeover. Our very first time ever. I don't even know where to begin. I emailed the kitchen cabinet specialist our cabinet requirements, after talking to her on the phone. Made an appt to go in, with our client, go over list, get cabinets, countertop and other materials ordered. Nothing special order. Most was right in store, in stock. A door, some lumber, kitchen supplies, cabinets and countertop, etc. Sat with employee, with list in hand, discussed, ordered and wish I never stepped in the store to begin with. After FIVE followup emails, each one needing the order to be corrected, multiple (way too many) phone calls, addressing: Cabinets ordered wrong in sizes, wrong cabinetry ordered (wall not base, etc), received wrong inswing door, delayed cabinetry parts (that I ended up cancelling on order, they were delayed/unavailable at time of order but they didn't tell us and still made the order with them on it), to texting (Lowes delivery verification method), verifying a delivery date (including an email verifying delivery date from third party countertop supplier), the day before delivery for countertops, to find out the very same day that they VERIFIED DELIVERY DATE, Lowes then six hours later EMAILED (not texted which is what they have done ALL ALONG) a notification that the countertops delivery date was now being delayed back 2 more weeks. I mean the night BEFORE our expected delivery date. I've called at least 6 times regarding these two orders. I've spoke with an Assistant Manager (who doesn't know how to login to the kitchen departments computer, only kitchen dept can access the company computer program) or anything about how to pull up our orders), driving and returning incorrectly ordered products. It's a crap shoot! The WORST business to do contractors business with. Now we have a kitchen, with cabinets installed without countertops and a homeowner who is looking at the situation with a regret. For good measure. Everything is bought and paid for. Apparently orders come with complimentary headaches. Not looking forward to the continued excuses and extensive phone calls that need to be made in the morning, to figure out how in a 6 hour timeframe we could be going from getting our delivery confirmed to being delayed another 2 weeks. Quality control sucks, their employees need a bon a fide checks and balance system and the Pro Center couldn't help out at all. They just refer us back to the store, time and time again. If we did all these errors and inconstancies in our line of work (construction), our clients would have us fired and off the job on the first day. Very disappointed and embarrassed to have had suggested Lowes to our client. Lessons learned. We would rather pay more and have consistent, educated and quality, over this type of buying experience ever again.

    My latest visit to Lowe's was top shelf. The forks at checkout friendly and help getting my Vets discount and activating my CC on Google Wallet for the 1st time.

    Purchased a holiday decoration that was missing half the parts when we went to assemble it. We brought it back within the same week and customer service at this store refused to provide any sort of resolution (no replacement parts, no return, no store credit, nothing). Completely incompetent staff all stating completely different policies and excuses when we spoke to different people trying to resolve it. At one point the old woman at the return desk told me it was my responsibility that I should have opened the box inside the store at the time I bought it to check that the item had all the parts in it and assembled at the store to check it all before leaving the store to go home - have never heard of something so idiotic.
