- HHhobo4001Dec 17, 20251.0I had 5 keys cut at the minute key kiosk. None of them worked in any of the locks they were for. I sent the company a message explaining that and requesting a refund as the kiosk said the keys were guaranteed to work. They responded quickly but I was required to give them the purchase information twice, a picture of my credit card statement, a picture of the copy and the original, and now they are "escalating" the issue. It's been almost 3 weeks and they still haven't refunded my $30. Having someone at the hardware store cut they keys sometimes takes an extra 5-10 minutes to find a store associate, but if the keys don't work the store will refund you no questions asked. So I am still out $30 and and 2 hours of my time between getting the keys cut and emailing the company 10 times. I will never use minute key again unless there is no other option within 1 hour driving distance from me.
