The young oriental girl ringing me up tells me to help her wrap the 6 dinner plates I just purchased. She never even asked if I would help, just tells me to. She handed me some paper and told me to start wrapping. I was so confused and in shock as there was no one waiting in line behind me so I wasn’t holding anyone up. I work in retail and would never tell a customer to help me wrap their purchase as that’s my job to do - not the customers!
