An employee by the name of Ronald helped me locate what I was looking for. He made sure I found exactly what I was looking for and stayed with me through out the search. Has a very pleasant personality.

I had made some orders at the pro desk and door department. I specifically told them what I needed and what I wanted to order and have delivered. Please be careful ordering things here. Check and recheck their work. If you deal with Dan or Ben, be aware that they seem to be professional and know the processes Lowe’s uses. However, they do not enter the proper information into the system, nor do they seem to have the knowledge to navigate Lowes’ systems for ordering and delivery. If you choose to trust their judgment, be prepared to be disappointed. And if you do have problems, and you try to inquire about the order, Dan specially ignores your calls and tried to dissuade you to ask questions and get things back on track. Please be aware and check their work. If you do not, you will waste a lot of time trying to unravel their disorganization.

When checking out, at pro desk, employee scoffed and rolled his eyes when I asked to be rung up citing there was another cashier right next to him.

I’m still processing the interaction I just had about 45 mins ago at this location. My experience would be comparable to a sketch that was written for SNL. I walked in this afternoon with the intention of getting three copies of a key. I walked up to the hardware desk, and after *I* started the conversation with a simple “Hello how are you! I was wondering if you’d be able to help me make some copies of a key?” The employee, X, condescendingly confirmed with “yeah, I *suppose* I could help you with that”. Wow! Thank you SO much for your due diligence X! You are awesome! I’m SO glad you feel empowered enough to contribute to your hourly wage at Lowe’s Home Improvement by endeavoring to make me three copies of a key this afternoon! Lucky me! After the machine FAILED to recognize my key THREE times, I was sent over to the self service kiosk located over by the self checkout. After an easy process, I was on my way out when I walked up the to customer service desk to see if they had any tiny bags I could use so I could keep my new keys organized. This is where it really turns sour. Another Y, ascertained as to why I didn’t get a bag from the hardware department, and that I should have gotten a bag from our esteemed employee, X, at the end of our service transaction. I unfortunately told her that I had to use the self service kiosk, as the machine used by employees only wasn’t able to read my key a number of times and that I had no choice but to use the kiosk. I was promptly and firmly told that due to my using the services of a third party vendor, I was absolutely, unequivocally NOT allowed to have any sort of storage receptacle upon leaving the store. I was not to have a bag, period. Even after me clarifying that all I wanted was a small bag of some sort to carry some measly keys, I was still told that a bag was not an option. You have to understand here, I in no way shape or form want to write out this long review, but this is the first time I have ever been genuinely flabbergasted in a retail environment, even after working behind the counter myself for 6+ years. Needless to say, while I was hopeful that I may be able to score a bag, I walked out of Lowe’s bagless. I proceeded to walk into Target, walk over to the Starbucks, and ask for a pastry bag. I was handed one no questions asked. What on earth is up with your employees at Lowe’s?? Like, are we really going back and forth over recyclable compacted tree pulp to hold my purchases?? A third party vendor is absolutely not my problem as a customer, and if I’m conducting business on your private property, I should be entitled to a silly bag! Why is this so difficult? Why did this need to be so esoteric and pedantic? Seriously, screw this store. They really should rename this store Lowe’s Attitude Improvement, because that’s seriously what some of your employees need to do here.
