  We had ordered a generator online through Lowe's, not thru the Potsdam Lowe's. It weighs over 230lbs and we needed it delivered and off loaded at our house. The national Lowes assured us they could do this, but as it turns out, they could not. It was shipped by Fedex on a tractor trailer and they would not come up our rural road. We contacted corporate Lowe's to ask them to send it to the Potsdam Lowe's and we would pick it up from there, provided we could get help with loading. Corporate Lowe's would not even do that - we would have to arrange it ourselves between Fedex and Potsdam Lowes. They said it was out of their hands. So, we called Potsdam Lowe's, talked to Fred and he said to talk to Fedex, have them deliver it to the Potsdam Lowe's and they would make sure it got to our house. True to his word, they got the generator on a Saturday and delivered it to us by personal truck - and unloaded it - on Monday. This was service above and beyond. While we are not impressed with corporate Lowe's, we are with the local store. Thank you Fred and delivery dudes!

  Hands down the worst Lowes. PROBLEM #1. Price gouged on a furnace and hot water heater. The contractor is Holbrook Heating. To add insult to injury they installed products not carried by Lowe’s. That voided the warranty and rebate. Potsdam did absolutely nothing to assist in the situation. PROBLEM#2 Incapable of delivering a washer/dryer combo. They did not have an appliance dolly. 2 man team unable to get the item down to the basement. I paid with my credit card. After going back and forth with the delivery service, not the store itself, i was sent a Lowe’s gift card. As a result I’m paying for a washer i don’t have. Nothing beats being forced into using Lowes. Potsdam did absolutely nothing to help. PROBLEM #3. Purchased an EGO snowblower. They tell you 90 days for returns. Sure, as long as it isn’t a snowblower. You have 48 hours to return that. I didn’t even use the damn thing until a month after purchasing. I was able to use it a grand total of 3 times. Stopped working. Currently using my shovel woohoo! Told by EGO it’s defective. Ongoing issue. EGO is very helpful. Potsdam of course offered zero help. PROBLEM #4 Purchased an oven with specific width. Associate was very helpful. Received from the warehouse. Inevitability the wrong width. By this point I’m traumatized. I already know what calling Potsdam will accomplish. I keep it. I don’t really need to access my cabinet said no one ever. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me 2/3/4 times, shame on me. FYI They upsell extended warranty plans as if you can’t be without them. Check your manufacturer’s warranty. You’re usually covered anywhere from two to five years. If you have the energy to scrutinize everything you’re told, purchase inferior products and receive substandard customer service. This is the perfect store for you. Otherwise, GO TO HOME DEPOT THEY STAND BY THEIR PRODUCTS.

  Nice, friendly workers that want to help you if needed. Checking the Lowes app gives me a map of where I need to go for the items I am looking for.
