    I was at Lowes in Ogdensburg to with my wife to return a light that we had purchased in august online but only picked it up in oct that had a broken globe. We had asked the cashier at the return desk if we could return thier broken one and get a new one off the shelf but she advised us that because we were outside of the 90 day return policy that she could not do the exchange. My wife requested to speak to a manager about this so she called Pete to come out. We were also there to purchase another differant light that we had bought at the same time as the broken one so I was out to get that one when my wife called me back to the front to explain the situation about the broken light. My wife had explained to Pete that we bought the items online as we were building a new house and only picked them up when we were able to cross over to get them which was oct 3rd. Pete seemed very sarcastic to us as my wife mentioned that we are canadian and had purchesed several items at the store for our new house. Pete continued to sau there was nothing he could do because of the 90 day policy. we are outside the policy by 1 day. This situation really left a bad feeling to us and ruined our shopping trip to walmart as well as we decided to leave there without purchasing anything. This was the first time that we had felt so insulted in a trip that we have made to your store several times as well as other stores in the area. we hope to return back in the future but will be careful with anymore purchases we make.

    Have to walk around to find help sometimes have to wait 10-15 minutes for someone to come to area for service 😞

    I just left Lowe's in Ogdensburg the woman working up front in charge of self checkout talked to me like I was an idiot when in fact I knew what I was talking about......there was an entire box of merchandise that was in the wrong spot under a sign that said 24.98 I did not know it was marked wrong although I scanned the item at self checkout and it rang as 31.98 before tax I asked the lady to please check the price because it was marked $24.98 she told me I was wrong and I grabbed the wrong item.....I asked her to please come w me so I could show her.....she said I cant leave here she then handed me to item and said take this back and go see that you grabbed the wrong item.....I was shocked she didn't offer to call for help or for someone who works there to go do a price check ......I walked back to the shelf without the item and took a picture of the shelf and the entire box that was in the wrong spot......I found Jim who worked there when I left the isle and he helped me ......he first walked back checked the item then took the sign and offered to help me and walk up front w me so I had no other problems......when I went and stood back where the item was the woman came back up to me and was saying how they won't discount it because I grabbed the wrong item.......I said ma'am I am not going to stand here and argue with you that man has the tag........anyway the manager pete and Jim got things straightened out they walked back again and checked the shelf and gave me a $7 discount because the item and the entire box of merchandise was in the wrong spot.......I hope this woman understands that because I am younger than her and look a little rough around the edges that I did not deserve to be treated as less of a person......she was very rude to me and I thank Jim for making me feel like I mattered and for giving me the help I deserved. Not treated me rudely like the woman up front
