- TATed Aschenbrenner5 days ago1.0Update on Claim below: Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling. Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they are deep in the middle of this. Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc. As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed, To my or my wife's satisfaction. -An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period. Timeline: -Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty. -Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install. -An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed". -Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one. -So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty. -$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile. -I will not go into other damage issues here. -Ted Aschenbrenner Manassas Virginia 20109 Keywords Below are appliances products names or contractor terms etc. that could be relevant in doing due diligence on purchasing. We love the quality of merchandise offered, the unparalleled customer service, and how valued and honored Veterans are when shopping there (I truly will never have enough thank yous for this). I want to shout out one employee in particular, a young man named Mikey, who was so patient, kind and helpful to me when I recently picked up a large order for our bathroom renovation. When I scanned the bar code for my order, it was not identified. He came over, helped me find it, obtained everything for me, and guided me through the best way to get it all loaded to my vehicle, which continuing to shop for some last minute things I had previously forgotten about. Mikey was awesome! Totally there for me when I was frustrated thinking that somehow my order had been lost because the pick up scanner was not showing it. Thank you Mikey! You are what awesome customer service is all about!

Her explanation - "we don't legally have to give our name. If an unhappy person has our name we could be shot". Does she not realize that when I go there tomorrow I will easily learn of her name? By the way, Lee Clayton’s got a good point. Why does Lowes feel Flock Cameras are necessary to be put in their parking lot? This is Newburgh, not the Bronx. I think having them there is an infringement on my privacy. Think about it. Big brother is now taking video and photos of people, cars, license plates….we are descending into a total surveillance state. I don’t like that, and Lowes should remove them and trust their customers. Pete McQueen
