  I am so glad they opened up this store here in the city! They always have discounts and the prices are very good! I always buy patches, planner stickers and candles from here.

  I have been buying yarn only at this store for a very long time. It's a great store! For crafters, it's just a gold mine! The salespeople and cashiers are polite. They help you find the yarn you need. They hold master classes. Which is important. So, girls, I wish you all a good time at the store. I recommend it!

  The associates at Hobby Lobby are the opposite of New York: slow and store associates just stood there. There was ONE open register at Hobby Lobby. The woman ahead of me had about 16 items. Soon thereafter, there were about 4-5 people behind me in line. No associate opened another lane. Note that this store associate didn't even scan the items. He had to manually put in the code for each item into the computer system. He had to call out his coworkers' names to give them a code while I was right in front of them all. There was no "thank you for waiting" or any kind of customer service as everyone in line had to deal with the wait time. The selection of items are great and plentiful. Just manage your expectations prior.

  Hobby Lobby is a very large store. I had heard that their prices were very cheap, but in reality, a simple search on Amazon can often find much lower prices. The main benefit is that since they carry so many items, if you forget what you were looking for, seeing everything can help you remember. Some things were quite inexpensive though—for example, their glass vases were almost half the price of other stores.

  POS: Everything you need as well as stuff you didn't know you needed. You can spend a couple of hours just exploring the different departments. Neg:Escalators and elevator may or may not be working depending on the day and time. Bathrooms may or may not be available for use. Definitely worth a trip for crafts, furniture, health and wellness products for exercise etc.
