    This isn't specifically about the Lowes in Middletown NY, but about Lowe's customer service phone line. I hate to be all 'Del Spooner', but when you ask the AI assistant to speak to a human, it should patch you through immediately instead of forcing you to talk to the AI ad nauseam. I had a very specific question that I needed help with which I didn't want to waste time on talking to the robot assistant.

    Took forever to get someone at the paint station, button doesn’t work. Return department is a little rude. Cashiers are really kind. Neat lowes, bathrooms dirty. The solar sales people are so annoying and they keep harassing you even if you keep telling them to stop.

    I received a Christmas gift from my son and daughter-in-law that I already had. I went to Lowe’s today to return the gift with the receipt in hand. When I got there, they told me that I could not get store credit. They had to credit the original purchasers credit card. I told them that I would only use the store credit in their store and I asked for a manager. The manager was very unhelpful as well. So they credited my son‘s credit card and he sent me the money and I did my shopping at Home Depot. I’ve worked in retail for 28 years as an executive and never once did our fortune 500 company want to send a customer away to spend their money elsewhere. I also built a 2000 ft.² Deck on my home last summer and purchased all of my materials from Lowe’s. I was very disappointed in the way we were treated and was happy to shop elsewhere.

    My boyfriend and I are homeless we're living behind Lowe's they are always polite and never give us a hard time yesterday i did something to my knee i gotta go to the doctor unfortunately i can't walk

    Do not shop here! Purchased an Ariens snowblower in October 2025 online. We ordered unassembled, however it came assembled, not such an issue However, when husband looked it a few days later, as he was out of town, there was no key or manual to it! Called several times, no one answers phone. Went to store to get a key/manual for it. Waited 45 minutes at customer service and explained situation. Employee comes from back room and hands me a plastic red key, said this should work. No bag, no item, no stock number. Went home, key did not work. Called store, no answer! Went on lowes live chat, said someone would call back in 24 hours! So, four days later, women said a key would be mailed. Almost 4 weeks now, no key/manual! Called again over one week ago, man said someone would call back in 24 hours! Still, no phone call, no key, no manual! What a disgusting place of business, DO NOT SHOP HERE! Needless to say, we have a $1,500.00 plus snowblower with no key!
