  My husband and I purchased a sofa for our daughter on Christmas eve 2025 at the Raymour and Flanigan clearance store in Johnson City. Jay was very helpful and let us browse the store without hanging over our shoulders. He was right there when we had questions and was very professional. Thinking we could take it with us we were informed that they didn't have any at the store and that we could come and pick it up on December 30th. On December 30th we received a text message that there was a delay in delivery due to weather and that we could pick it up on January 5 2026. Not a big deal as Syracuse had just had 2 to 3 feet of snow fall. We completely understood the delay. On Tuesday January 5th we received a phone call from the store saying we could schedule a pickup for the sofa for the following Wednesday or Friday January 14th or 16th. That the sofa wasn't on that trucks delivery. So I called to ask if we could take the floor model instead of waiting and was told "no we only do that if it is a discontinued item" so I asked to speak with the store manager Alex who came up with a solution to deliver the sofa for free of charge to our daughter who lives 3 miles from the store and that they could do it on Sunday January 11th. We then received a phone call from the store on Fri January 9th stating that the sofa yet again wasn't on the truck and can we wait another 4 days. We said no we keep being told a certain date then it keeps being pushed back and to cancel the order and refund our money back to us. I'm sure the sales people work on commission and now our salesman Jay just lost out on a sale at no fault of his own. Instead of the manager saying yes we can give you the floor model and replacing that sofa with ours when it was on the next truck.

  They only delivered the mattress not the adjustable bed frame then acted like they couldn’t pick up at the phone at 2pm during business hours very inconvenient after spending over 2,500$ on a mattress and ADJUSTABLE bed set that isn’t even delivered yet !!! Don’t waste your time get your stuff somewhere else

  Upon initial visit, Lori was great! Helpful, knowledgeable, low pressure! Explained all the options! However, when we changed our mind on the direction we were going with our purchase (at an another store), we got instant push back and criticism on our purchase; this left a bad taste in my mouth.
